Ive sim unlocked my sk17 from virgin uk who request code from sony , Sony headed paper the code arrived on , but still my status is no , ive tp unlocked bootlader , ive been trying to get loopys play trick working ,but not joy , I need sk17 3 woton files , so I can try make a rtf for flashtool to resest status to yes

Open the back cover and check the battery and sticker below battery. On mine, they show different numbers, (11w33 and 11w37). Both are below 12w10, so I unlocked my device. Better don't try if either number is actually higher.

I have Xperia S that is unlocked to all carriers but with Allowed NO and i dont think this will help. Once locked allways locked

I was just wondering that, one way for manufacturers to allow updates for old devices with locked bootloader would be, To only release an updated kernel (I.e updating the kernel is the real problem right?) compatible with those locked bootloaders to atleast allow devs to build a rom on. Is it even remotely possible?
After all we paid well for these phones we atleast deserve that much

I'm slightly confused. My bootloader is set to NO. So looks like I can't unlock it? However my phone is unlocked to all networks, I've used multiple sim cards. I don't understand unlocking using Test points. So what can I do? I want to install a Cyanomod. Please Help me

My bootloader cannot be officially unlocked, but I can access flashmode and fastboot mode (and the SIM is already unlocked), I once flashed the customized noba stock ROM for my Z5 SOV32, since it was packed with many of the Japanese Xperia bloatwares
So can I still be able to unlock it?

i got xperia x compact...service menu says that i cant unlock bootloader...but i got green and blue light as well...so am i in fast boot mode? if press vol up and got blue light..?? .howewer yried unlock bootloader..put comand..code...but didnt work..said command not allowed..pls help
