In recovery in backup there are 5 partitions
1 boot
2.system
3.system image
4.data
5.cache
6. Efs

Are all these partitions are required for existing OS backup??
Only boot, system image 2 are enough!
If u are on 3.0.0.0 recovery dont try backup, cuz u can brick your device if u restore it. 3.0.2.0 is working. But yes 2 system and boot is enough i think

Hi,

I'm trying to get a working twrp on my p1 and your guide looks promising, however I have an issue at the beginning. I've installed driver, booted to bootloader (already unlocked) but qfil says no port available. Do you have any idea what's wrong?

My OS is win10 64 bit

Thanks

The problem might be that you have not selected the com port in qfil. Sometimes it is not selected automatically and you need to select manually.

Bro windows 10 x64 bit will need to disable driver signature verification and installation of drivers. Have you done both these things.

Might be other cable. I used USB 3 port and it worked for me
Thanks for the response.
It seems it is not working in my environment, after installing the driver and booting the phone as it is requested, there is no Qualcomm serial port. I've tried this on two machines (both win10/64bit) with two different cables, using usb2 and usb3 port and disabled driver signature verification and still nothing... I've also tried to use some other guides from xda developers to get a working compatible bootloader (twrp or cm) but I stuck at this point...

Since the creator of the guide is in the same country than me, we can schedule something f2f :) If I can have a working unbloated nougat on this phone, you can save me some money and we can agree on the price :) Just drop me a PM if you are interested
