Booted from fastboot to recovery, rooted and then flashed recovery from fastboot worked for me. Currently rooted on S288. Needa choose a custom rom to follow *chuckles*All the best
In recovery in backup there are 5 partitionsYes.
If u are on 3.0.0.0 recovery dont try backup, cuz u can brick your device if u restore it. 3.0.2.0 is working. But yes 2 system and boot is enough i thinkIn recovery in backup there are 5 partitions

Only boot,system image 2 are enough!
It's other way round. It's ok to restore twrp 3.0.0 but not twrp 3.0.2.If u are on 3.0.0.0 recovery dont try backup, cuz u can brick your device if u restore it. 3.0.2.0 is working. But yes 2 system and boot is enough i think

I'm trying to get a working twrp on my p1 and your guide looks promising, however I have an issue at the beginning. I've installed driver, booted to bootloader (already unlocked) but qfil says no port available. Do you have any idea what's wrong?
My OS is win10 64 bit

There is no selectable port and I don't have the device when I boot in fastboot mode. Did I miss something?

Bro windows 10 x64 bit will need to disable driver signature verification and installation of drivers.
