I did everything, but when it first initialize the message "Trebuchet has stopped worked" appears over and over again. How can I fix this? My phone is a XT1033.

Sms/MMs Issue

I followed your guide for my XT1032, and I'm unable to send or receive MMS. Any idea what the issue is? My carrier is Consumer Cellular.
I've the same issue. It's some package Manager issue. Any 3rd party app also will not be able to send / receive or see sms.

Somebody fix this or provide an solution please. I tried updating as well as downgrading it didn't work.

I have the same problem. I read that's it's caused by the gpe edition using ext4 as it's partition format for the Data partition. Does anyone know how to install cyanogen on a gpe edition moto g? I've tried to change my data partition to f2fs, but then I'm not sure of how to transfer the cyanogen zip to it, since I can't boot it up and use adb.

Edit : Well apparently, you can use adb in recovery, but it didn't fix the problem at all.

Facing insane issue

I'm facing weird problem. I followed the procedure and my device is working fine except for audio and video issues.
The issue was
When I plug in headphones for playing video. Video stops you can't play it same goes for audio. If you remove headphones, everything works smoothly. I could take calls without any hassle and with headphones too. To remove this I searched for some info. At forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/development/xt1033-audio-fix-t2832183 n flashed device. Now audio doesn't work at all. Can anyone guide me ?

really useful; feedback for CM 12.1.1 Falcon

thanks for this thread, was really helpful.......
I was using stock ROM for my Moto XT1033, OTA stopped at 5.1
Feedback for CM 12.1.1 After 3 days of usage
  • smooth and fluidic
  • i love the freedom with new tweaks
  • increased battery back up
  • had some issues in network with stock ROM, resolved
has some minor stability issues with 3G network even now, BUT OK

IT WAS DIFFICULT TO FLASH CM RECOVERY, AFTER FLASHING WITH ADT STOCK ROM WAS ALWAYS REPLACING IT WITH STOCK RECOVERY.....TWRP RECOVERY WORKED EXCELLENTLY; HERE IS STEPS I FOLLOWED
    1. Backed up my entire data
    2. Unlocked bootloaders from Motorola website
    3. flashed TWRP recovery With ADT
    4. flashed CM 12.1.1 with twrp
