hey, can anyone help me out with this issue..i have successfully flashed viper on pie through magisk..the magisk version of course and it works perfectly with all the required drivers loaded and all but after a few hours the viper effect dies and a restart is needed to bring the viper back to life. Can this issue be solved, thanks in advance !
Did you disable battery optimization for viper?
Are you running greenify? If so don't select viper.
Pie is going to take a little time to adjust to. I have been successful in getting viper working then adding a new Dolby with aml. Problem is that it the phone lags and Dolby dosent fully work. Still trouble shooting.
I have updated the Oreo magisk module to work without twrp though

i disabled the battery optimization for viper and I dont really use greenify, but I am still facing the same issue...this was there in oreo as well...a restart is the only thing that fixes it...shall wait for some update that fixes the thing..thanks a lot for the suggestion thoughDid you disable battery optimization for viper?

See if you can try these from the OG post for Viper stuff. I am not on Pie so I am unable to attempt.
I think the new viper is doo-doo anyways, it is this Dolby mod for some reason that is really boosting sound quality to me, my P2XL is on 8.1 and the latest magisk viper gives me an error about I/O blah blah but DOLBY still works fine so my audio is rocking.
I used to use Viper ATMOS Sony beats edition on my Nexus 6P (miss that phone).
