Finally flashing a ROM but...

Hi so I need clear instructions on how to add Volte+VoWifi for ROMS and if this change will ruin the EU roaming that is included for all mobile users in Europe? Could there be a issue with SeLinux? What ROM should I use? My carrier is Telia MVNO Fello.

All commands pass without any error, for now I cannot check if this works because I'm abroad and in data-only roaming, but hopefully this method will work for all of us. And this is WITHOUT root, which is very important.

and the Volte work but the Vowifi doesn't work on my 5T with Bouygues french carrier.

yup, this works for me. used it on 5t oos 10 hotfix. now i have volte and vowifi

Working for me with Op5T on German carrier Telekom (reseller mobilcom debitel). F*cking finally! I am on unrooted OOS and it worked like a charm.

After update OP5T to Android 10, missing switches to VoWiFi and VoLTE.
In this tutorial i will show how to fix this.
It is enabling VoWiFi and VoLTE even in Poland with T-Mobile, Orange and Play carrier.

0. Make sure that you just enabled the VoWiFi and VoLTE in your carrier first !!!
1. Download and install the old LogKit: https://www.dropbox.com/s/8kk77qzo4..._1.0-1_minAPI28(nodpi)_apkmirror.com.apk?dl=1 or https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/onepl...lease/onepluslogkit-1-0-android-apk-download/
3. Type *#800# --> oneplus Logkit --> Function Switch --> enable VoLTE and VoWifi switch
4. Open Settings --> WiFi & Intenet --> SIM & netwok --> enable VoLTE and VoWifi switch
5. Connect your phone to PC
6. Type *#801# in Phone app and enable Serial and Full-port switch
7. Download and unzip the EfsTools with config files includes: https://www.dropbox.com/s/aslwvbmegy0dbin/EfsTools-0.10-modded-1.2-win32.zip?dl=1
8. Open CMD on the PC, navigate to the folder when you extract the files (eg. cd c:\EfsTools-0.10-modded-1.2-win32)
9. Now execute the following commands:
EfsTools.exe efsInfo
EfsTools.exe writeFile -i mcfg_autoselect_by_uim -o /nv/item_files/mcfg/mcfg_autoselect_by_uim
EfsTools.exe writeFile -i mcfg_autoselect_by_uim -o /nv/item_files/mcfg/mcfg_autoselect_by_uim -s 1
EfsTools.exe uploadDirectory -i mcfg_sw.mbn -o / -v
EfsTools.exe uploadDirectory -i mcfg_sw.mbn -o / -s 1

Thats it. Commands with "1" on at the end are for the second SIM card.

Well finally! I combined the method from above with the mcfg_sw from below

and I now have both volte and vowifi on my 5T!

Btw, my 5T is on stable 10 hotfix and not unlocked and not rooted.

onplus 5 on android 9 stock : not unlocked or rooted

voWIFI an voLTE work... but i never receive sms over wifi

tried my sim card on another phone and sms over wifi work...

would be very usefull as i work where there is no cell coverage often.

any idea how this can be resolved?

Btw you dont need to use logkit apk, just need to add necessary command lines into buildprop and it will do the same job

I have tried the method from OnePlus forum, but this is not working for me. All commands pass, but no effect. I have tried few MBNs - no result. No idea what could be wrong. I own OnePlus 5, not rooted, not unlocked and for SIM1 I use PlusGSM (Polkomtel, Plus Internet na Kartę), for SIM2 I use nju mobile (Orange branch, contract). In Android 9, the MBN which was working for me was for the Everything Everywhere UK, but now it's not working. Tried for Orange, Plus, some generic ones - nothing. I think, we would need some explanation, how this modification works, what if defines, and how the phone tries to connect to the server, on which port, and so on... Could it be, that the operators disabled OnePlus devices on the network level, as those are not VoLTE/VoWiFi certified? Are those MBNs are for pretending that our devices are something else like some certified manufacturer?

The instruction helped and all worked buuut...

for android 9 oos, do use the pdc tool.

The instructions should tell that MVNO without VoLTE and is owned by a bigger company(Telia) doesnt work. So I have to wait for my MVNO budget carrier to enable Volte for Samsung and iPhone devices.

Yes mate but only VoLTE, VoWiFi doesn't want to work. Also some people have reported success with Boost.

Check my previous post with my trial and error method all based on the smart work of others. Good luck!

I followed the instruction and tried all carriers on this list. Every time I called I used 3G. I use a MVNO.

See the last method, the one without PDC, the one without the possibility of choosing the carrier. I am on Android 10
