Hello guys, in this tutorial i am going to show you how to calibrate battery on Android (Recovery Method).

Note: i'm not responsible of your battery getting uncorrectly calibrated because you have done uncorrectly so do it at your own risk.

There will be one section for CWM and one section for TWRP:

Let's start with the TWRP method:

Step 1: Turn your phone completely off.
Step 2: Boot in recovery (VolUp+Power).
Step 3: Once you are in the recovery, go to mount and tick "system" and "data".
Step 4: Now go back to home screen and go to "Advanced", "File manager".
Step 5: Go to: "data/system" and select the file "batterystats.bin".
Step 6: Press "Delete" and swipe to confirm.
Step 7: Go back to home screen and remove the phone's battery (sometimes when you do poweroff from recovery it restarts the phone).
Step 8: Hold "Call Key" and plug the charger cable.
Step 9: Wait until it is fully charged, unplug phone and turn on the phone, your battery is now calibrated :).

Now the CWM Method:

Step 1: Download "Aroma recovery file manager" Link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2231581&d=1378202418
Step 2: Copy the .zip to sd card.
Step 3: Do same as Step 1 and 2 in TWRP.
Step 4: Go to "Mount and storage" then mount system then data.
Step 5: Go back to home then go to "install zip from sdcard".
Step 6: Select Aroma file manager .zip.
Step 7: Naviguate to "data/system".
Step 8: Hold "batterystats.bin" and select remove.
Step 9: When done exit the file manager.
Step 10: Do same as Step 7 in TWRP.
Step 11: Do same as Step 8 and 9 in TWRP.

Note: i don't have currently CWM so maybe it is not the correct names sometimes.

If you have got any questions please reply.
Hope this tutorial have helped you :)

This work can be done simply with application, 'Battery Calibration' in Google Play Store.
(Root required.)
This app also delete batterystats.bin file too.

You should read this man http://www.androidcentral.com/wiping-battery-stats-doesnt-improve-battery-life-says-google-engineer

some expert saying that resetting battery stats has nothing to do on battery life ,

I'll dig further in the topic

yes it doesn't improve but sometimes phone shows incorrect values of battery and may shutdown even when battery not empty.

Yes i know there is apps but the apps removes your batterystats.bin when your phone is turned on so when you charge fully when phone is on, it isnt fully because the battery isnt already calibrated, so this will apply new batterystats.bin on not fully charged phone. That's why chose recovery method because it removes the file while your system is off so you can shutdown phone and charge in bada mode so it really fully charges :).

Sorry for my bad english and explication :p
