yes thats it copy it and put it in c:\ so your cdrive will look like c:\tools ok and now copy all the files in the us firmware in that folder aswell 4 files .img files

did you download the android sdk zip or windows installer? and you need to run the update manager look for the update manager.exe run it and update all

I used this meathod- thanks worked well for me, had an auto ota wifi update to 3.1 but to get to 3.2 I had to flash from USB pendrive using dropbox file on? Page 4 of 3.2 thread in general.

maybe its cause you needed an OTA to get to 3.1, so it helped it along a little?

a bit like when i was setting up google music beta and I reset my password on google account, then when it complained on my xoom it was wrong, re-entered it and suddenly google music beta was activated... just need a kick I think...

you need ADBwinAPI.dll in the same place as ADB.exe

in the zip/windows directory where it put it all

look in platform-tools - they moved stuff around awhile back - you might want to copy tools -> platform-tools or platform-tools -> tools

my divece is on the starting fastboot protocol support and cmd promt is on the

I followed this thread a couple of days ago, but haven't got the 3.2 update yet (I got 3.1 more or less straight away). Is the general concensus that if I wait a few more days it will show up? Don't mind waiting just so long as the delay is part of the roll out and not an deliberate exclusion of non US IP addresses.

P.s. I've got a UK wifi Xoom obviously.

Followed the steps and all went fine. Once again thanks for the guide. Now enjoying 3.1 and hopefully soon will get 3.2 as well.

If you want 3.2 after 3.1 get a usb thumb drive and a mini usb cable to usb (must be the right one). then use the file on page 4 of the thread below called android 3.2. Follow instructions in link in thread. worked a treat for me after using the meathod in this thread to get us 3.1 , Easy to set keyboard to uk. Much smoother and also have some movie editing stuff now

So you're saying that waiting won't ever get results and the only way is to do as you describe. Surely if waiting won't help, I could always follow the same poceedure and go back to 3.01 and then forwards to 3.2?

this is weird why the updates ain't coming through what I did was turn my devices wifi off overnight and the next morning I put it on and the update came through they can't of bared the IP cause people are still getting the 3.1 update ota so its working OK the only thing I can think of is do a hard reset if it don't come through.
