You might need to disable Driver Signature in windows 8, updated my post for the steps. :good:

Windows 8.1 and its showing Code 10, device cannot start in the device manager...
SP tools not detecting my phone either...
I've installed all the drivers there but still doesn't budge...
When disconnecting and reconnecting, there's a slight second where it shows as connected, but tht soon vanishes

Please help!

Please help me im getting this error-

Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it.

Mediaatek DA USB VCOM Port

This device cannot start. (Code10)

i have tried every thing and wated half a day.
I want to use sp tools .. please help me
