yes. but i give up. i will use your iso to install windows. does your iso include all drivers?
Your image isn't showing on my end but I'm guessing it's the one labeled "support tool" or something along those lines. The device properties show it as working. The lack of a yellow triangle generally means everything is as should be. I do believe I tried looking up the device ID but couldn't find anything definitive. I'm pretty positive that entry was there with the factory OS image also. If someone with a virgin Yoga Book could check the device manager for that device it would be helpful. I am pretty sure it is something used by Lenovo to either program or diagnose the notebook.Hello. I used your ISO and it worked as charmed every Driver updated but in Device Manager i get this![]()
What is that?
Thanks
Yeah that's the one. I've tried for quite a while to find a driver for that device. Even Driver Genius failed to find a driver. DG isn't perfect but when it does fall I tend to get sad  Wouldn't it be amazing if that was the key to getting Android on the Windows version of the YB!! My desktop has had dual bios for going on seven years now so hey you never know! Damn it, I wish that thought hadn't crossed my mind!! I really am pretty sure that that's there for Lenovo's diagnostic use.it is other Devices----Tool Devices with a circle in middle Question Mark.
That's Intel's Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework. Unfortunately nor Lenovo provides the download for the YB nor Intel for Cherry Trail systems.I really am pretty sure that that's there for Lenovo's diagnostic use.
Thank you for all of that information! I will check into it when I get off work in about 10 hours. That's Intel's Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework. Unfortunately nor Lenovo provides the download for the YB nor Intel for Cherry Trail systems.
But you can download the one they offer for the Flex 3/Yoga 300
https://support.lenovo.com/es/en/downloads/ds104058
After installation you get the DPTF back to the Device Manager List, but not the "Tool Device" away. This "unkown" Device is actually the Thermal Tester for the Goodix/Display Driver.
In other words you will have to manually add the Driver by choosing "Select from List" on Driver Update and than select the "Intel(R) Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework Display Participant"
Side note: The driver listed above is an older one. Give Windows Update some time, it will do the job on a future update silently...

Then you apparently did something wrong as the driver has no other I/O functions than measuring the Goodix device... Did you select the " Thermal Framework Display Participant" ?I tried the procedure described by forcing the driver, but doing a system restart crashes

On the other hand, if I still remember well, you could even choose the general "Thermal Framework Manager" as all other sensors are listed in the same multiple ".inf file and Windows should select the prober HW ID by itself...
Sorry for that, I don't have any problem at all with that driver. When I reinstalled Windows a few month back, before your guide existed, this was the only driver I could find. I remember there was a Japanese Site referencing to this HW ID and the mentioned driver. My suspect now: this was way before Windows 1803 - even though I was on the insider slow ring. Anyways, it's the only problem I can imagine with the Thermal drivers...Apparently I've done something wrong as well![]()
Please don't be sorry for trying to help! I believe I know the site you're talking about. I've found it several months back. It has a yellowish background and had about 4 drivers listed. If you try looking up the hardware ID on Google, which I'm guessing you have, you find very very little which really leaves me to believe that this is an internal Lenovo device. I have to admit it is very odd however that the device manager shows it working with the driver you posted but with the BSOD there's no point :crying:Sorry for that, I don't have any problem at all with that driver. Yes that has been helpful, thank you. The fact that it says "No driver files are required or loaded for this device." says it all. Would you be willing to export your drivers and send me a copy?I have a Win10 Yoga Book model YB1-X91F purchased earlier this year. My Device Manager lists Gooidx Child Device under Other Devices (which was hidden) and no others. Currently running Win10 version 10.0.17134, BIOS version 04WT18WW, dated 8.26.2016. One distinction: it has a Canadian-French keyboard layout.

A little more info: when I check Device Manager for Gooidx driver details it get "No driver files are required or loaded for this device." The event tab lists only an original configuration on 5 May 2018 with the following details:

Is that of any use?
