same problem, twrp-3.2.1-0-20180108-codeworkx-zl1 won´t work even after 5 trys and wildly pushing the on/off button a lot of times.

which one workes for you?
What another? Does it have filename, version?

Ok, With twrp-3.2.1-0-20180108-codeworkx-zl0.img DIDN'T WORK.

The version which worked is twrp-3.1.1-0-x2.img, which you can get from here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/le.../twrp-recovery-multi-tool-zl0-lex722-t3702703

archive file - > File (folder) -> 1 (folder) -> twrp-3.1.1-0-x2.img

pushing the TWRP

the right steps for you to push it properly should be this

get this TWRP file first
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=962187416754456706

1. after you have downloaded the file, place it on your ADB folder first
2. turn on the phone in fastboot mode (power+volume down)
3. to make things a lot easier, copy a cmd file on your ADB folder too. *NOTE: im on windows 10". yes you can copy a cmd file on any directory, were just copying this to make things a lot easier, trust me LOL

now this will be the command for you to properly push the latest TWRP by codewokx

now open cmd on your ADB folder

then enter this

fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.2.1-0-20180108-codeworkx-zl0.img

then

fastboot boot twrp-3.2.1-0-20180108-codeworkx-zl0.img

if you have done it all correctly, twrp should be working

I have a X722 version with 20s.
I wanted to root my phone. I unlocked the bootloader and I flashed TWRP, but when I enter in TWRP I can't seem to get any response from the interface. I got stuck on the 1st screen. I can't swipe to unlock. What can I do in order to root the phone?
sir can you help me how to root x722?? im also at 20s stock rom,, can you help me please, i just need to root. What is the first thing to do? please

Read the first page. If you're on 20s vendor ROM, all you need to do is enable OEM unlocking and USB debugging in Developer Mode settings and then go into fastboot mode. Then connect via adb and use those bootloader unlock commands in the OP, and flash TWRP.

Unlock Bootloader

Hi, I'm new to doing this, before I follow the thread
* Download universal drivers
* I installed minimal adb
When coloring my leeco pro 3 elite International Version in fastboot and I put the command "fastboot devices" or "fastboot oem device-info" it turns out to be "waiting for any device" and it stays that way :rolleyes:

Did you enabled usb debuging on your device?

yes i do it

After opening OEM and USB Debugging, I install the ADB Fastboot and when it is on if it recognizes the system because when I connect the cell phone with cable it appears by default "only load" but when putting in multimedia mode the ADB if it recognizes the device, the problem comes when I go to Fastboot mode "power + Vol-" there when I connect to the PC I do not work any command tells me command error or "waiting for devices", I installed the drivers says "MTP" (you can take or put photos PC if it recognizes)

Hello,

After several hours of failure, I am on the edge of throwing my phone away.

I have one last problem that is TWRP has a problem with the Touchscreen. Volume button won't work either.
I know that
You might have to press the 'power' button twice before touch is enabled in TWRP
But it just closes and re-opens my screen and nothing happens.

Do you have any idea to solve this ?

Thanks.

Don't give up! :) Just to confirm, you have the x722 model, right?
Did you flash this TWRP version? https://twrp.me/leeco/leecolepro3elite.html

I'm going to cry. :crying:

Yes, I have LeEco Le Pro 3 Elite X722. Just bought it from Banggood.
I did download this one and other ones to test them.
They all didn't work.
The only version that worked was TWRP 3.1.1 for X722.

However, I think I softbricked my phone now, because it's stuck on AICP logo. (it changes colors but the system just don't start after waiting for 10+ minutes)
My options : I can still go on Fastboot mode but not in recovery mode.

How I did it :
  • I installed/downgraded/upgrade via recovery 01D provided in the thread and then, tried to make my pc detect my phone.
  • When it finally did after 3 hours of despair, I discovered my phone was already unlocked.
  • So, I tried to make TWRP 3.2.1 work, but no success until I tried 3.1.1.
  • I "format data" (because I didn't know what button I needed to press),
  • I installed ROM (AICP Weekly zl1), GApps (ARM64, Android 8.0, Nano pack) and Magisk. (It already had Google Play but someone told me to install it anyway...)
  • Finally, I wiped data one more time before rebooting system.
  • Tada, stuck on AICP logo forever.

Well, you clearly didn't follow the instructions. Anyway, Don't wipe data after flashing the rom, GApps and Magisk.
Try to re-flash and give us an update :)

Me again!

So I re-flashed it for the third time :
I didn't wiped EVERYTHING this time. (Not internal storage and USB)
It started normally and automatically found my location (Weeheee! French keyboard!)
But now, it's looking for updates and it's been more than 5 minutes.
I hope it doesn't get stuck on it after my episode with AICP logo. (When will my bad luck go away? :|)

Now, under "Stock 20S unlocked" folder you'll have a stock rom, cleaned, unlocked and friendly to root, you can intall in fastboot by opening flash.bat
Aside from installing 01D, do I then have to open flash.bat? If so, how do I do that?

(sorry in advance for being such a newbie!)

Flash aicp, than gapps 8.1 not 8.0, let it to boot, set everything up, flash magisk and it will boot.

That's normal or did i make a mistake?

@danielpinto8zz6 You should probably change the "downgrade to 01D" part. What you should mention is:

You should downgrade to 01D ONLY if you're on

-firmware WIXCNFN5802005041S (see Settings > About Phone to confirm whether you're on this firmware or a different one... if you're on a different firmware on 20s, you don't need to downgrade)
-stock 26s (if your x722 came with 26s, you need to downgrade to 01D)

A lot of people are getting confused and downgrading when they don't need to. As long as you're on a 20s vendor ROM with multiple languages, you don't need to downgrade. I was initially confused about that, so I thought it was safer to downgrade no matter what. I fully realize now that I was wrong. Sorry!

To anyone who did downgrade: don't worry. Nothing bad happened to your device. You simply added one extra step to the process. You can do anything you want as long as you're on 01D. Or vendor 20s. Both are safe to mod to your heart's content.
