This CM10? Da hell man! I tested myself! From what firmware did you come? And did you flash Gapps?

Mats

Yes this CM10. I was on Termin V2.5 (11.3.A.2.23). Then I flashed the full original 11.3.A.2.23 firmware again, flashed CM10, still nothing. Yes I flashed Gapps.

Is the GSM bug fully fixed in this update or does the bug just appear less frequently?

It's supposed to be fully fixed. I have been on this for 1,5 week now, and no problem(before I would get the bug once in 3 days)

The odexed or deodexed version? Because I remember that when I flashed one of those, I had to reboot a second time to get my SIM detected(not sure which version). If that doesn't work. try to flash the 11.3.A.0.47.ftf and then the CM10.zip.

With this guide I used Deodexed, rebooted, nothing. I have tried Odexed, but not with this guide, rebooted twice, nothing.. I bet my device is one in a million that doesn't support this CM10 LOL.

Can you try using the 11.3.A.0.47.ftf?

Strange! I have uploaded the correct .zips and they both work for me. Perhaps the issue lies with your SiM card. I know there are different types, so maybe that's it.

Gonna try CyanogenMod again when CM11 comes out, maybe I won't have problems with that. And talking about it, do you have info about the approx. time when it's released?

Nope. I am not a member of the Tamsui team. I wish I could be of any help, but I can't install a 64bit version of Ubuntu. And if you want to build on a 32bit version, you need to change quite a lot of things to get it working. A dead end!

Advice from me: don't ask for ETA's. Like: ever!

on stock 2.23 check if sim works

then
in recovery
clear data/factory rest
wipe cache
clear dalvik cache (in advanced or something its available)

Flash cm10

then again
clear data/factory rest
wipe cache
clear dalvik cache

JUST A SUGGESTION!

Don't give UP!

Re: cyanogen

Hi,

I decided to update this thread with separate E/E dual links, plus some extra instructions

You'll need an unlocked bootloader for this action. Unlocking the bootloader will result in warranty loss. I will not be held responsible for anything that may or may not happen to your device.

What is the point of this thread? Well, this thread offers you a CM10 for our E with the baseband uknown(SIM not recognized issue) that randomly occurs after a couple reboots(some people like me get it in 3 days, others have never got it).

This CM10 was an update by @jjm34 (OTA 1.1.0). Member @Johnt880 discovered that this update brings a stable baseband. All credits go to him! I merely created E single and E dual versions and Deodexed them! I also replaced the boot.img with @UltraGamerHD his Hades kernel, so you'll get 1,5 gHz OC and some other stuff.

The bugs of this CM10 are:
-Magnetomet not working(no automatic landscape/portrait)
-Video recording doesn't work.
-Video playback doesn't work(no YouTube)
-Bluetooth acts strange(it connects, but refuses to exchange any kind of media)

As you can see that's pretty bearable.

Installation instructions:
1. Download the appropiate ROM for your device. Choose the Odexed or the Deodexed version(easier modding).
2. Download the Gapps(contains Play Store, so pretty important)
3. Place the 2 .zips on your SD card(internal or external, doesn't matter)
4. Flash the boot.img inside the ROM.zip. You can use Flashtool or the Android SDK.
5. Boot into your preferred recovery(TWRP is the most convenient). Blue LED=TWRP. Green LED=CWM.
7. When using TWRP: Wipe cache, dalvik-cache, data and system under ''Wipe'', ''Advanced wipe''
When using CWM: Wipe data(hard reset), wipe dalvik-cache(under ''advanced'') and format system
8. Install zip from SD card>CM10ROM.zip
9. When it's done, install zip from SD card>gapps.zip
10. Reboot system, insert PIN and enjoy your SIM recognized CM10 :D
Little advice: CM10 doesn't give you the option to switch between Wi-Fi and 3G like stock does. So when you insert your G-mail and password, it will use precious data to establish a connection. If this is something you don't want to, just skip the G-mail, skip the creation of a G-mail, and go to ''Settings''>''More''>''Mobile Networks'' and uncheck the data. Now you can enable Wi-Fi and open the Play Store. You will have to insert a G-mail and now you can since you have a wi-fi connection ;)

This CM10???

That should be impossible! I modded the stable E dual version to display only 1 SIM card. It should work. I have been on this ROM for 2 weeks and never had a single problem. The battery bug is also fixed, do I think you didn't flash this CM10!

Just saying, it happens to me too. Not the battery bug, but the SIM doesn't work - it's like SlimBean and stuff; it shows no service all the time. My solution is to just flash a stock FTF, boot it, then install CM10 again.

Wtf. That's all I have to say.

Our phone is just a pain... Why didn't I buy the Huawei G330??????????????

No really, I have nothing to say except a lot of words that aren't tolerated by XDA.

This update you found is not from @jjm34 but from @hsr0, take a look at his thread (He released OTA 1.1.0). It's a continuation of @jjm34 work by hsr0. I think you need to give him credit!
