Download the magisk.apk file, rename the extension from. apk to. zip, reboot into recovery, flash this magisk.zip, reboot into the rom, open magisk and allow it to download the magisk app. What to do If I'm trying to root and install magisk while I'm on a custom ROM (AwakenOs)?
Thanks

Sorry, I can't because I don't own this tablet. But have you checked if you really have problems to run Netflix w/o additional measures? I am asking since my phone is rooted, running a custom rom, lacking any safetynet fixes or magisk hide etc. and nevertheless Netflix is running. Thanks it worked!
Can you guide me on how to get safetypass for netflix? I'm on awaken 3.6 with magisk delta.
Yeah I just had to download it separately, cause playstore was not allowing it.Sorry, I can't because I don't own this tablet. How can i get boot.imge of version "13.1.4" Global? my current tab version is "13.1.4"You are perfectly right. Problem was that I used the boot.img from the first post and not the one from the version I'm currently running. After acquiring the correct version all worker. I'm happy that I have finally the root privileges and I can
What I'm missing now is the good community around this device. As it was announced as one of "few usable tablets" I was expecting big community around and amount of alternative ROMs. Apparently there is yet only few of them.
Look here for the rom you need, download the fastboot variant and extract it. Here you should find the boot.img file. But maybe you should first try to extract your boot.img directly from your rom. See here. How can i get boot.imge of version "13.1.4" Global? my current tab version is "13.1.4"
./fastboot.exe devices
./fastboot.exe flash boot boot.img
./fastboot.exe reboot

Same as other Xiaomi devices. If you have problems adding your account in the developer options, try doing it while connected to USA through a VPN, that's what I had to do. Also had to update my Windows drivers through Windows update while the pad was connected to my laptop to get fastboot to work, even though adb was okThat link is down unfortunately. Can someone provide a working link? Or is it a generic process for every xiaomi device?
Use this modified SafetyNet fix module (just install it over original one):Thank you for the guild! It works great for me! Netflix is also not available in play store in my case as well
Too bad!Unfortunately the procedure didn't work for me on EEA ROM. Once I flashed patched boot.img and rebooted, device stays stuck with MI logo and three blinking dots and doesn't boot. I let it in this state for one hour hoping that first boot just will take more time.
I tried to reboot and re-flash patched image again, but there is no difference.
