Yes, exactly!!! I spent bloody ages reading guides advising the latest version of Flashfire for G-Flex 2, but it just wouldn't work, many others were saying the same thing too, then luckily someone on Reddit said 0.27 ain't flashing sh#t on a G4, you need 0.24 and LO AND BEHOLD :highfive:It should be: xposed-v80-sdk22-arm64.zip
Some people were having trouble using the latest v0.27 of FlashFire and were only able to get install Xposed using an older v0.24. So if it fails, just use the older version and you should be good.
You need to use flashfire 0.24 and it will works.it doesnt work for me ... flashfire "finishes" after 2-3min, the phone boots up normally (blackscreen -> LG logo -> launcher) and xposed is not installed ... i am using xposed v80sdk22 and flashfire 0.27 on my H815 v10c
do I need to "mount /system to read/write" in flashfire or not?

and a bit more
It always helps to read everything the OP writes and then the last couple pages of the thread. You would be surprised how many times a simple fix has to be answered over and over. And how do you even get root of your phone came with Android6.0 marshmallowUPDATE: You can install the official Xposed framework (v74) by @rovo89. I have updated the instructions accordingly. It is recommended you upgrade to this version, as it has some bug fixes and is an official version.
You do not need a custom recovery or unlocked bootloader. All you need is root. Here is how I did it:
NOTE: I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU BRICK YOUR DEVICE. FOLLOW THIS GUIDE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
1. Download Xposed framework (xposed-v74-sdk22-arm64.zip) from here
2. Download official Xposed installer (XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk) (APK ONLY!) from here
3. Install FlashFire (you will have to sign up for the beta program) here
4. Make sure your phone is fully charged. Make sure it's unplugged from computer or any power source.
5. Flash Xposed framework using FlashFire. (Just use the flash .zip option. Do not check Automount) (This will take A VERY LONG TIME-Your phone will not boot for at least 10-30 minutes.)
6. Install official Xposed installer
7. You have Xposed! Enjoy!
*Please note: Some users have reported the flash appearing successful, but after booting, the Xposed framework is not installed. Some of these users report second and third attempts failing. You may have to try it over and over before it actually installs the framework. Currently it is unknown why this is an issue. This is a rare issue, but there have been a few reports of it.

You can ONLY root your phone on 6.0 Marshmallow if you have an UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER.And how do you even get root of your phone came with Android6.0 marshmallow
You have a link for lgupYou can ONLY root your phone on 6.0 Marshmallow if you have an UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER.
If you are already on 6.0 and really want root, you would need to use LGUP to downgrade to 5.1 Lollipop. Then you can root and install Xposed, but you have to stay on 5.1.
Everything I've read so far says it's impossible to downgrade right now if you can help I'll send you a six pack of your favorite beer in the mail lolYou have a link for lgup
I downgraded from 6.0 (20d) to 5.1 (10c) on my H815 using LGUP, but I needed to delete all my data. You have a link for lgup

I'll give it a shot when I get my new puterI downgraded from 6.0 (20d) to 5.1 (10c) on my H815 using LGUP, but I needed to delete all my data.
Just H811 (TMobile) cant downgrade.
What I did:
I downloaded the kdz from storagecow.eu (in my case 10d gave me 10c) and used REFURBISH. I also did a backup with LG Backup on MM and restored it in LP.
Have u used the right version of flashfire? The newest doesnt work. Try v0.27 along with v80sdk22 of xposed.8) I am getting scared of trying again. Shall I just keep on going through earlier versions of the SDK22_64 (I've seen a couple of messages here that 74 and 71 versions of the xposed...-SDK22-arm64.zip worked. OR SHALL I wait and first search down and download the earlier versions of Xposed installer? What am I doing wrong? I am pretty glad it's just that instead of bootloops or the like.
Thanks for a fast answer -Have u used the right version of flashfire? The newest doesnt work. Try v0.27 along with v80sdk22 of xposed.
Ah sorry i meant v0.24 -- v0.27 (which is also the newest version) was the one that didnt work. Just google for flashfire 0.24 apk or something along these linesThanks for a fast answer -
Flashfire version downloaded from the link from XDA that took me to Google Play installation - version FlashFire Free v0.27 as stated at the top of the settings in the app on my phone after download, I wasn't even aware there was a newer version.
The first flashing attempt was with it for the v80sdk22-64 recommended for LG G4 818p. Xposed insaller 3alpha 4 doesn't see the framework as installed (text in red). Any suggestions? Or is there supposed to be another workable version of Flashfire?
