I have changed the resolution of COMBINATION FT55 R845FSQU1ATI1 and COMBINATION FT55 R845FSQU1ATG3 files to *.EF. But EF File Extractor haven't created any MD5 or TAR files. Do you have a working combination firmware?

@Nmc_alves®

1) May I ask what is the difference between OXA and OLB?

I wanted TGY (Hong Kong) but flashing the CTJ5 (OXA) resulted in mostly Nordic countries (Sweden, Finland, Denmark, etc.). Then I used NetOdin to flash the BTH4 (OLB) and upon starting up, there was no country or region selection and Samsung Pay agreement appears to be similar to the US agreement.

Right now, my software version stated in the app is:
R845FXXU1BTH4 / R845FOLB1BTH4 / R845USQU1ATF2

Yes...I flashed from R845U to R845F but wasn't able to get to TGY using the CTJ5 (OXA).

2) is there any way to force OTA update? It currently states that my firmware is the latest.

Thank you in advance!

Thank you so much!
I will probably revert from R845F back to R845U XAR with your uploaded firmware.

Just an update. Finally achieved my intended region TGY!!
Thank you so much for your help and files!
Hi,
May I know how you managed to do it? I am where at where you were earlier, flashing CTJ5 and only getting nordic regions, then BTH4, not being able to choose a region but unable to do an OTA update either (the region I am targeting is XSP, Singapore). I just downloaded the below as per @Nmc_alves but I dont understand the rationale for it. Inside the CSC folder I don't see XSP nor the TGY that you managed to get. Will you be able to advise what I should do next please?

R845USQU1BTK2_Tizen_3File_CSC (OYN).EF_098cad56dc
R845USQU1BTH4_Tizen_4File_CSC (OYN).EF_7f9930f725

Thanks in Advance

Not on here often and just saw your post.
You need to look for R845F firmware as a starting point. The ones you have listed are R845U. Those are mainly North American / maybe Latin America firmware.

@Nmc_alves® has shared the firmware containing XSP. Check the first post in this thread for R845FXXU1BTH4_Tizen_4File_Multi CSC (OLB).EF_ffa1474cce. Hope that helps.

Thanks! I've managed to get that loaded in, and missed that out previously as I didn't notice the requirement to separately download the EF extractor software. After installing the new firmware though, I'm not sure how I can actually check on the current CSC to verify if it's indeed been changed to XSP, and also it seems that there is no OTA update on the version which is currently at BTH4, which is about a year old. Any idea how I can get this sorted?

After flashing the firmware and setting up the watch for the first time, were you able to select Singapore (XSP) as your country?
On your watch, you can check your firmware: settings -> about watch -> software -> software version. If you see R845FFZSAXSP, then you are set up for your region.

Also, when you flashed the files, did you flash all 4 files (CSC, BL, AP, CP) so that they are from the same set of firmware? I can't remember for sure but the radio needs to be consistent with the other 3 in order for OTA to work.

No Sir,
I've just done a check and the software version is displayed as R845FXXU1BTH4. I'm quite sure that I've changed the prod code and csc active customer file. I'm positive that I've flashed all 4 files within the firmware as well. My model on prodcode is a bit different though, SM-R845FZKAXSP, not sure if this is correct, I pulled it off the samsung page as the model version for Singapore.

Sorry. It was a typo. as long as the last 3 letters (region code) is XSP, then you have achieved your region specific firmware.

I'm looking at the XSP documentation and do not see BTH4 (BTG7 -> CTJ5 -> DUA4 -> DUC2 -> DUE4). You may need to search for one of those firmware version and inspect inside to see if it has the XSP region files in order to push for update.

Why BTH4 is not listed but has XSP, that part I am not sure.

Great, thanks,
I believe there's a CTJ5 version of the firmware. Let me try it again and see if I'm able to get it to work. Thanks, and it's good to know how i can actually make sure that I'm getting the correct region specific firmware installed

ok now this is weird, i've just checked the CSC region available on the CTJ5 firmware and it doesn't contain XSP, and somehow on the BTH4 version that I was using the XSP region is there. Is there any way we can magically combine both? I've also tried to source for the other firmware versions but haven't been able to find anything so far....
