It will not work if your watch not on CSC XAC. You must be on the specific CSC. Can you share more about your model and the country of the origin of the watch? This is only for SM-R840/850 MODEL.

How To

Hi guys,
I want to clarify something I have learned the hard way.
Change the region in easy, but you should know what is used for.
Net odin: Is a program that allow you to upload the firmware to your watch.
Combination firmware: Is a firmware that MUST be installed before doing anything else. It will allow to use sdb tools. You install with Net Odin. It must be the right one for your watch model.
SDB Tools: This is cmd software that can read two files from your watch and save, "pull "them in your computer. You will need to use the right version (windows, mac ubunto and so on) Once pulled the files, you will mod, with a text editor, the region code and save the files. Then you will upload them to your watch pushing them always with SDB tools "push".
Firmware: Is the actual working firmware that you will upload to your watch after the operation above. Usually is a packed file containing three files that you will upload using Net Odin
I hope this helps the ones like me not very familiar with the procedures required.

I'm living in the middle East. I don't have access to ECG and blood pressure on my watch 3 firmware r850. In my country health monitor is not available on Samsung store

Is it possible to help me. I don't understand how to do for move in another country

Now I have samsung pay, ecg, spo2 on my Watch 3, so amazing

Hy Guys, some questions for u:
-Why i must flash the combination file and use the sdb tools, i can't flash the firmware with the choise csc direct to netOdin?
-Some experience of bad measure ( BP, So02, ecg) in R850f? i read some user that had problema....but they have the two mod app (caravana) maybe is this the problem


Furthermore I ask you if you think it makes sense to wait for a Samsung update for the LTE version in Italy
(since its release nothing has ever been released from what i read in Android blog ) or if you think it will never arrive, Zamsung ....

I'm from Canada, just found out that some features won't be made available to me. So I will not be paying $600 dollars for something that has it's capabilities restricted. I suspect this is beyond Samsung's control, can anyone confirm this...

Hoping someone, perhaps @adfree could help me?

I've been looking for suitable files to change my GW3 region but the files i downloaded seemed to be corrupt.

I found adfrees links and downloaded them last night thankfully as i can't find that post now.

I would like to ask, should i use ATF3 or ATF6 files? I don't actually know what ATF3 or ATF6 means.

I bought my watch a week ago from techinthebasket website. 45mm Galaxy Watch 3.

I don't want to use ATF3 if i should be using ATF6. I don't want to use ATF6 if it should be ATF3 so was hoping for some help on that.


EDIT: Ok so I believe that ATF3 and ATF6 are related to firmware versions, yes?
My watch is listed in settings as a Galaxy Watch3 (1FBE)
Model Number: SM-R840
Tizen Version: 5.5.0.1
Software Version: R840XXU1BTI2 .... <----- from Google i have seen R840XXU1... related to ATF6 files.

So am I correct that I need to use ATF6 and not ATF3?

Hi guys, sorry to ask maybe again, but the whole thing is very confusing for me.

I have a galaxy watch 3 LTE, bought in germany. SW Version R845FXXU1CTJ5

I have Samsung Pay on my phone but not on my watch, as it is not yet released in Germany.

How can I get it? This is what I assume:

- Flash adfrees ramdisk and rootfs to the watch

- with sdb change CSC to United kingdom (or does Switzerland also work?)

- flash Stock Rom R845FXXU1ATFB_Tizen_4File_CSC (OXA)

Would that work? Do I use the right versions and files?

Hi, I tried to change region of my Galaxy Watch 3, SM-R845F bought in Thailand. I downloaded combination file from easy-firmware for my model and loaded it to my watch as instructed in the youtube technoProz. Of course, Odin failed and now I cannot boot into my watch. I got "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please seclect recovery mode in Kies & try again." I think I need to reinstall stock rom using Odin. But I cannot find stock firmware for my watch model. Please help. So sad.

Or should I try @adfree method by flashing two files, Test_smR845F_rootfs_ONLY.7z.html and TEST_smR845F_ramdisk_ONLY.tar? (is it safe to download the second file as I got warning that the host website is dangerous?).
