When compiling ROMs it is advised to use H324 source because it's not so broken and is universal for single/dual sim.

How to flash?
Best method is MTK FlashTool(download)

Grab uboot (This is for devices that have android 5.0 on them, should work for all models, tested on my H420 and works)

Grab TWRP 3.0

1. Unzip Flashtool.
2. Get recovery.img and uboot.img from recovery and uboot zips.
3. Open flash-tool.exe
4. Select scatter file. which is in the same folder as flash-tool.exe
xzakyj.png

5. Select your uboot and recovery.img click on the highlighted, it will open the file picker.
gqyaiu.png

6. Turn off your phone, plug in usb cable in the computer.
7. Click the download button in flashtool, plug the usb cable.
8. Wait for it to say ok.
DONE! :D
To enter recovery:
1. Turn phone off.
2. Hold power and volume down
3. When screen turns on, let go of the buttons and quickly hold them again.
4. A menu should appear about factory reset. Don't worry, it won't since the recovery is custom.
5. Select yes using volume keys, you'll need to do it two times.
6. Voila!

To root stock 6.0, download this and place files in flashtool like in the guide above, just pick the files and flash. (recovery.emmc.win = recovery; logo.emmc.win = logo etc.) afterwards you can go ahead and get a magisk zip and flash it (it needs to be modified to be able to patch our device, thanks to the people @ 4pda for being so helpful) here

Everyone else for the ROMs, thanks guys!

Which applications are these? I think that some applications can use only English language.

forget my last question (kinda stupid). i have a problem if you guys could help me would be great. after flashing everything succesfully on the phone, wich is a spirit H420, under phone info now i get H422. it wouldn't be a problem if only i could flash the marshmallow kdz meant for the H420, but the installation process via LGUP doesn't even start. i've seen interesting stuff on 4pda, maybe i could find H420 lollipop stock there? to start from scratch before updating?
can anyone help me to revert the phone info?

In my case, I tried to upgrade my H420 from LP to MM via lg Mobile support tool or lg pc suite, but neither does the trick, constantly getting error. I have the MM .kdz file that is named as "H42020C_00_0530" but I tried to flash it through lg flashtool 2014, this one in vain too. What I should do to get Marshmallow? Thanks!

apparently marshmallow can't be flashed using flashtool 2014, in 4pda there's a link to this video. the video is in russian, but to put it simply: go to lg site of your country, go to support, find your device, download drivers and "LG support tool" wich is a new version of the 2014 flash tool, install both of them, insert the phone turned on because the software needs to recognise the model of the phone. it will find the upgrade, "the phone may reboot, do not disconnect etc.", sadly it will go through the process of downloading the update from the internet, so no use of our kdz.
i've managed to get untill "upgrade available" step using a mobile connection, but since the firewall of my university is filtered (and beside the weight of the file, my phone would reboot, so no tethering) i can't update now. as soon as i get to a private connection i'll try. let me know if you succeed. ;)

No way with lg support tool, it didn't pass over the download of the firmware, just give error. I resolved following (by google translate) this: http://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=686154&st=2500#entry50284916, then the green colored link Прошивка android 6.0 с нуля через LG Flashtool, finally download the attachment named H422, about 1,1 Gb. But the guide assumes that you utilize a firmware with .dz extension, not .kdz...We need an extractor/converter, just get this http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3136613&stc=1&d=1422375946.
Then, if you have, like me, downloaded the v20c MM stock firmware from a site like this: http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=190, just extract the two files needed to flash our H420: "LGUPc.dll" and "H42020c00.dz". I hope I've explained myself well or almost....:silly:
If needed, just ask. I'm pretty happy with my solution.:victory:

DONE! thanks mate! owe you one ;)
a clarification to anyone who might come here: the 2013 version of lg flash tool, wich is required for this guide is contained in the H422.rar of the russian guide. it took me a couple of minutes to understand. also i didn't understand the part of the green link, but i managed to update anyway, so i think your advice is pretty clear.
i'm not sure if this kind of update was needed for my device (didn't try upgrade tool), but since it was succesfull for you, i already posses the .kdz and i'm on a limited connection, i decided to give it a try...and SUCCESS!
already like marshmallow, hope memory leak doesn't affect our devices, and can't wait for root!

Guys can i unlock bootloader of my lg h442
yes just flash it as told to. There's even CM13 (android 6.0.1) just look up the 4pda thread.

I can confirm that the process explained on 4pda is successful. All the credits to this amazing Russian guys.

quick guide for 6.0 root. steps translated from 4pda

OK, here we are. first things first: the following guide provided by 4pda will install an ugly yellowish lg boot logo on your device, i'm sure it can be fixed later, but for me it's not a big deal. just to inform.
as always, none of us is responsibile for the potential risk you are taking following this guide, and i suggest you do a phone backup, as always, bla bla bla...
    you'll need:
-SP_Flash_Tool_by_djperya (not linked in the mentioned 4pda guide but you can find it on the first page of this thread)
    -this .rar archive
    -supersu.zip
    process:
-extract the archive: it contains boot.img, logo.bin, recovery.img and uboot.img
-copy the supersu.zip file in the internal memory of your phone.
-open the flash tool: select the scatter.txt file already provided in the same folder of the tool
-then basically the steps are the same as the first guide of this thread, you'll need to select the provided boot.img as boot, logo.bin, recovery.img and oboot.img from the downloaded 6.0 folder.
    -turn off your device
    -plug it in your pc
    -press download in the tool
-it should appear a tick and the phone should reboot
-when the phone reboots, press and hold power+volumedown key, and as as soon as the lg logo appears, quickly release and press again the same buttons
-it should appear the factory data reset screen, don't worry and navigate with volume keys to confirm two times 'yes' with the power button
-the phone will reboot you in your new twrp recovery
    -flash the supersu.zip
-reboot, go to the play store and install supersu
    et voilà.
    1
    Ok, clear enough, thank you!
Is there a step by step guide on how to install Android 5 please?
(I will save all info I have using 'backup' on my SD card... I will install Android 5 -need guidance- and then 'restore' all my saved info from my SD card... so the phone will be exactly the same as before, with all saved info as before, but with Android 5, which I will then be able to root using a software like Kingoroot, etc)

    Many thanks in advance guys!

I hope the procedure is the same since you have a MediaTek chip. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

    1) Backup your phone, I recommend using this software: SyncDroid
    2) Install SyncDroid and follow the instructions to backup your phone
    3) Go here: http://lg-kdz-firmware.com/lg-h420-firmware/190.html
    4) Find your region and correct model number and download the correct firmware (LP firmwares are designated with v10x, where x is a letter of the alphabet). For example, if you're from the Hungary region and have a H420, you would download the HUN/HUNGARY V10E kdz.
    5) When your KDZ is downloaded, download LG Flash Tool.
    6) Follow the instructions to flash the kdz from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2797190 (to enter Download Mode, turn off your phone, take an USB cable, plug the PC end in the PC, and plug the phone end in the phone while simultaneously holding Volume Up key until Download mode appears).
    7) When your KDZ is flashed, set up the phone.
    8) Use SyncDroid to restore your files (follow the instructions on the screen).
