In that thread I think they did. I have one too! Crappy dock made one right around the charger so I can't blame Sammy.

Mine is above the speaker and the other is along the right side. Samsung told me its not a known issue. Then they tried troubleshooting it and telling me to remove the battery to see if that fixes it. Lol.

On my second Note now. I exchanged the first one for a crack about an inch or two below the power button. The replacement has now developed a crack right at the power button.

So Samsung can say whatever they want about it not being a known issue - but it is an issue. Knock on wood ... my Note has never been dropped, I don't sit on it, and it's treated like it's a 5" piece of glass (which it is).

I got 3 cracks actually...one right on top of the speaker, one right where the power button is, and one right underneath the home button. Idk if these are really cosmetic flaws by Sammy...cos then again i ten to drop my phone all the time lol...Ofcourse it's always been in its folio leather wallet case so it shouldn't have hurt it that much.

Where are cracks developing? Is it around the edges of the phone that goes all the way around? Did you guys drop it or forced the phone into a dock?

Go somewhere else and complain.

No, he has a point. If the OP had responded in the thread that was already started, it would be brought to the top of the list, and it would have the same traffic, without creating a useless thread and cluttering up our forums. Especially when he knew there was another thread.

My phone has never been dropped or put in a dock. If u look at the phone the crack is between the top of the glass and the silver trim. You will see white trim and thats where mine are

are you guys sitting down with the phone in your pocket? If it is a little tight, maybe the frame is flexing a bit. I've started taking my phone out of my pocket when I sit down.

Nope. I get the concept that 175 lbs of me is too much for super thin glass to support.

Mine is hardly ever in my pocket. I usually carry it around in my hand. Im too cautious with my phone. Never even been tossed....not even on a bed or couch. Always sit it down gentle

Flashing a ROM in recovery doesn't increase the flash counter. The only time your flash counter should be touched is when you use OdIn. And you can always flash the counter reset zip if need be.
