I don't want Insert_Manufacturer_Here phone. I want Google phone because

- not one of Google products had any hardware issues whatsoever so far
- you always run the latest, fastest and bestest Android iteration with no manufacturer/carrier crapware
- Google has been forthcoming with the source code, which means
- lively and vigorous development

All of the above is good enough reason for me to make a switch.

I'm not saying I'll be ditching Note any time soon, though. I like it and plan to run it into the ground.
But adio Sammy after that.
Big total Amen to this. Very same for me - I'll hold my Note as long as it lasts and not boring me, but then I'll move to Nexus. Be sure to coordinate with me, making sure, we're buying the same phones - there is no chance I'm going to miss you here :)
And, at all, we'll need to migrate all our insane community together to a new asylum cells:cool:

This is my first and last Samsung flagship phone. The next one will be a Nexus for me. It could even be a Samsung Nexus, who
knows, but it will be produced under Google supervision, which should mean no more faulty chips and no more Samsung BS
software framework.

One brick is more than enough.
+1, as much as I want a Note 2, i've decided to wait until the next Nexus device. Google is rumored to launch 5 devices soon. And frankly I'll take a Tegra 3 version! Nothing wrong with the T3 chips.

+1. Hope the next Nexus hardware is abreast with the latest in the market. Frankly, the Galaxy Nexus was a but subpar - camera, speed, etc.
Actually the Galaxy Nexus was more than enough. It needs to run stock Google firmware. Which doesn't take a 1.7 quad core to run. My nexus at 1.35ghz and 384mhz on the GPU was more than ample for what I use. And the camera was perfectly fine. Its a smart phone. If you want bad ass pics go buy a DSLR.

Well its a 99% chance I'm getting a nexus and going to develop for it.

And I though it would be hard to. But I love my S3. Its perfect for me. Note was better, but 4.8 is still plenty big. The only thing makes it different is the 16x9 vs the 16x10.
