Handcent and Superuser Permissions

So, recently (I can't pinpoint exactly when) the handcent app has been requesting superuser permission. I wasn't aware the handcent required root? Whether I grant it permission or deny it, it still works the same. It's just getting irritating that every time I need to send a text or get one, the little notification pops up on the screen about superuser permission. How do I make this stop?

If by chance you selected LED plus in settings > Notification settings > notification settings > LED plus (check box)
You would be gettinging superuser toast/request every time you open the app or keyboard.
Deselect Led plus to get it to go away if you selected. Or otherwise all I can say is turn notifications for superuser off :/

yeah or you can set handcent as always deny so you wont get the toast nag via superuser app.

Actually, I tried this, and it kept giving me the same popup notice except that it kept saying it was denied superuser!

Thank you! I was at my wits end. I switched roms to MIUI and I rather like that messenger app, but I've since come back to Senseless Rom and looked back on this thread. Again Thanks!
