Hello all

So after a nightmare getting a deciding on a new phone I got my hands on the XZ!
First I wanna say I have had 3 HTC ONE's, yeah you heard me 3! All had defects on some kind and trust me for a flagship phone the build quality is pretty terrible. I'm no fan boy I have had many makes and models over the years and this is my first Sony. But HTC need to really up the game here on there building and quality checks. Apart from that the HTC ONE is really amazing, under the hood that is, software is good ( dont like this new blinkfeed) and camera even though is 4MP/ultrapixels is still good.

Anyway the XZ is just as good in all departments! The camera is just amazing and Ive only used it in doors. Speed and pixels are lower then the ONE but you wouldnt know unless tests were ran.

I'm gonna keep it sweet for now but overall I'm glad I exchanged my HTC for this as theres more pro's for me with this phone then the HTC.

Oh one question. . . Why does it say my phones up to date and a new FW is out ending in 434? Mine ends is 350 or something like that.

Cheers for reading.

Couldn't agree with you more.

I had a One X - I was happy with my handset - I never had any issues, but I know many, many other people that did.
Now onto the One.... I personally have had 4 separate handsets, and all of them were of really poor build quality. After the 4th one was naff, I decided to go for the XZ - and I too am extremely happy with the phone.

The HTC One is a bad-ass phone, but as stated above - they really need to sort out their Q&A.

You can update your handset using an FTF file - I upped mine to 434 the other day.

HTC one isn't the best phone as some are touting it to be, and xz does most things equal or better, except for benchmarks.
