I know that this is in the wrong area, but I could not find the area for the US Cellular LTE version of the sIII, if a moderator could move it to the appropriate are, that would be much appreciated.

I flashed a version of the MIUI rom that was meant for the GT-I900 version, but from the description it looked like it was for ALL s3's.
After finishing the aroma installer, the phone rebooted, or rather didn't. It powered off but didn't power back on, and I had a charged spare battery that I put in to see if that was the problem, it wasn't. I've done everything I can find documentation on, but to no avail. I've heard of ways that I could use an sd card with an image on it and odin mode that would load a version of download mode on it in a way that I could flash a fresh image, and it has had very positive results, but I haven't been able to find any version of the sd card image that is actually designed for the USC version. i also heard of using a usb jig, but it has had varied results on hard bricked phones and I'd rather not mutilate a charger or cable for a procedure with such varied results. Any help is much appreciated, as this is my only phone aside form my old g1, and it is the phone I use as a phone with google voice, without it I can't do any texts or any phonecalls, it's as dead as it can get right now without being physically broken, no download mode, no nothing. It doesn't do anything except for prompt me to pull my hair out, I'm almost at the point of taking out the mother board, getting a new one, and doing a video of some target practice with the old board. Also, if there is any way to recover the contents of the internal sd, that would be great, as while I made a cwm backup to an external sd, my photos and all of my music are on the internal. Thanks in advance!:fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:

If you pull the battery and hold Vol down and the home button, and plug your phone in (or power)can you get into download mode?

And i did read you said you cannot get into download mode but in curious if you can by plugging it in as opposed to pressing power (while holding volume down and home until you get the option)

Also, do you at least get the vibration or the red light

the contortions I had to put my hand through to get that combination were epic:silly:, but to no avail, I have no haptic feedback, nor even a charging light

I've heard people talking about a jtag rig, but the actual specifications or requirements for one such setup seem shrouded in secrecy, it's not like I can find a single one that advertises a price lower than 120

Is riff as good a jtag as they make it sound? I found an adapter that will allow me to plug it in without soldering, but are there any files that I'll need to unbrick it? Also, how much does riff cost from their site?
