Hardest Bricked my P10 Plus. Can't even turn my phone off.

i did everything as insctruction told yesterday and i had no problem with update_data_full_public.zip.

it's just that "update_full_VKY-L09_hw_eu.zip" i couldn't download from URL .

which is why i was searching on google to find "update_full_VKY-L09_hw_eu.zip"

I'm exactly with the same problem as WackyJoker, I really hope it will have a solution for the problem.
I just want to know how you can enter the fastboot? Right now I'm not able (as far I as know) to connect the adb/fastboot to the phone

yes, i believe it's newest on firmwarefinder ru .

and i couldn't find update_full_VKY-L09_hw_eu.zip

i have successfully downloaded "Update.zip" and "Update_Data_full.zip" from URL.

Can you shutdown the device?

if u can , while it's shutdown, hold VOL - and plug in usb cable. or just hold VOL- and power button.

Yes, I can shutdown. I'll try that tonight when at home. Also, I found this thread that I think could be useful

thanks mate. gonna try to flash again right now with those zip, this one seems the right one with 628.82mb .

the last VKY-L09 hw eu zip that i downloaded was 135 mb more or less.

You have to make sure u are at fastboot/bootloader mode then run update.bat .

And make sure you have installed driver correctly .

I believe i did everything correctly as instruction told. Yet at last step it comes big red "!" sign with "Software install failed" with little words "The update package does not exist. Please download the package again."

I did it 4 times with sd card same brand and pc, with sd card rebrand and pc.

then i rebooted phone and get in to recovery, trying to do "wipe data/factory reset" and at 49% it stopped and says "Update installing failed" .

Now i can't even flash system.img to get in that crappy rom that i talked about. :crying::crying:

OMG it worked !!!!

I am so stupid that i forgot to change the file name of hw_eu_full_update.zip to hw_eu_update.zip as instruction told.

I only changed the update_full_date_public but i forgot to change the previous one.

Now i'm in the official system.

Maybe he/we should post a thread for more people who has same problem to know that they can un-brick their phone by that.

Great work dude, have u considered to post it ? In case that some may need to learn the right steps for their huawei p10/p10 plus or any emui 5.x users
