Hardware Id Missing....

I cant figure this one out... it happens randomly. Sometimes I can plug my Note 2 up to my computer and everything is fine, but there are time I get this error- Hardware Id Missing. Windows cannot identify the device plugged into the SAMSUNG Mobile USB Composite Device..... Does anyone have any suggestions? Its becoming quite annoying.
