has anyone been able to connect XZ2 to DJI controllers ?

i have been VERY disappointed NOT to be able to connect XZ2 compact to DJI's Mavic Pro controller.
i have tried every possible USB config, and had a very hard time submitting the issue to Sony Mobile support.
i have found a thread that in their forum indicating UNsuccessful previous attempts with Xperia devices. Has anyone any hack or idea how to overcome this ?
