theres other threads on this but theyre all old and lead nowhere. i enabled hidden menus by changing OFF to ON in the hidden menu file that has that option. typed *#0808# in the dialer and get the menu to select MTP + ADB. that fixes it but after a reboot it always reverts back. it never sticks. also renamed autorun.iso so the verizon software iso would stop loading, but my computer just sees an empty cd drive now and my phone still goes to installer mode automatically so it doesnt really make a difference. has anyone figured out how to make this permanent?
