yeah it quite complicated when they use different chip, it would takes time for us to dig. but i am sure there is the way it just need time to find out how it is working

According to [ https://support.google.com/pixelphone/answer/10082009?hl=en ], Italy is in the listed country (which is not what we mentioned here; we only consider the countries which are not on the drop down list [aka. the unlisted countries]). This is why your Google pixel 6 pro works fine in Italy.

Try and select Denmark, the information there is not currect, i live in our capitol Copenhagen, this phone cannot catch 5g cause the sub-6 is not used, mmWave is.

You know you can get Volte on Plus network in Poland, right? There is Volte magisk module that enable that. And Vowifi too

How nice, needing root for something the phone should do out of the box.
Google not even kind enough to activate that for you? 899USD or 1250USD as i payed for mine and all i get is 4g, not 4g+ or Volte or Vowfi.
I payed a premium for a wish phone at best.

I would love to get what i payed for, a 5g phone but hey maybe next pixel?

I read other and find some comment able to enable VoLTE but not 5G.
Some said that they have tried the older way which worked on older device but it seem don't work on Pixel 6 Pro anymore.
They assume that this is because google use their new tensor chip not the Qualcomm one.

Until now I can't find the solution for enable 5g for unlisted country. Please help me find that .

These are supported countries in Europe, I mistook Finland which is supported but they currently don't sell the Pixel 6/pro there as well as Norway. If you still don't believe it google "5G not supported in countries not supported by google", that's why for earlier models you had to install special modules with root to activate

This is not up to google rather the service provider to do this, because contained within are APN and other settings specific to the service provider.

That is a lie from Google, try and flash the Android 12 beta 2(not 12L) firmware for ether Pixel 4a or the Pixel 5 5g and voila you got 5g in unsupported country and provider, cause they messed up and forgot to lock off the countries and providers they dont like or want to have 5g.

I am in the proccess of finding the files and getting 5g on my Pixel 6 Pro, Google really are bad people with this.

The only difference that I'm aware of with region updates is the baseband images, which are optimized for various regions. There are some "flavors" of Pixel devices that are not mmWave capable, and there are some regions where mmWave is not used or permitted.

I've yet to see anyone properly identify or modify the carrier policy files for this phone.

And for people used to qualcomm's NVRAM items, there's not much to work with on this phone.

Do you work for Google? are you a lawver? why should i be carefull about this? if an old Android 12 beta image is unrestricted in 5g and such with unlisted countries and carriers then it means what they say is a lie? you could investigate it futher or just delete my post saying Google is lying? dont really matter to me, just stating my observations and talked to my carrier, and it seems Google is ignoring TDC - 3 - Telia and Telenor in my country about 5g support from Google as they have all already sent in the info needed for they networks, it is know in Denmark that Google phones cant get 5g LTE+ VoLTE VoWifi connection on any carriers, which is why when people try and sell they devices the people wanting to buy want 50% discount as there is only 4g not anything above or Voice 4g etc.

Last I checked, it's very difficult to even enable the modem and serial ports on this phone.

And when you do, Shannon DM and air screen still do not work when connected to the phone. Shannon in particular is too old to read 5g events when you try to feed a log file from this phone.

This phone is a black hole for those diag ports.

That being said, there was a new network signal guru release (4.0.4) yesterday that included an updated hiagent that may help us. I doubt it though. It does include crude band locking for the phone though, which is a surprising first step.

With the exception of Fi, Google has little interest in carrier technologies; they are simply trying to market a Google-branded device for international markets. As a former network technician I can tell you that it's often carrier issues that prevent certain devices from using certain functionality on their networks. If I remember correctly, there were some US carriers that wanted to prevent LTE function on devices they didn't explicitly approve.

To make this simple, the way I look at matters like this is thus: The most likely explanation for an issue is generally the simplest. Why would Google or any other manufacturer lie unless it was in their own interest? How could dishonesty in this context possibly be in their interest?

Perhaps the functionality in question is something still in development and simply isn't supported yet. Doesn't mean they're lying.

if LTE+/5G/volte are features that are "still in development" in the year 2022 for google pixel devices, its no wonder theyre not popular devices.
