My unbranded XE is getting the same 'setting update' available and it won't install either. I'm still on Gingerbread.



i just found out this update today, Settings 4.0.2213332163.350357,
after google, can't get any info on this fix.
but i wonder, is this fix for wifi and 3g automatically being stich on early morning, as what i face after updating to android 4.0.3???
my problem is, every early morning, around 4am to 6am, the wifi and 3g connection will be "automatically switch on" without my notice.
i have 2 sensation, facing same problem, with another sensation having the same problem too.

I sent mine in for a proximity sensor issue and they updated it the update is not worth it feature wise but it so faaaast now

wow i got my update yesterday morning about 11.30am which started of with a twitter client update and then it flash up 4.03 update, and i just updated it right now, still got the spelling mistake, but beside that i have again addition memory before it was like 115mb free, now it is 224mb, what did they change, i wonder if they can make this version superuser so i can change my cpu to at least 1.5Ghz instead of default kernal limited version 1.2Ghz

I have the same exact trouble. My phone simply switches on data early in the morning. The worst thing is that I have been in roaming for the past few days and I really do not want to waste my credit on data charges.

Can anyone upload a copy of the OTA update from Vodafone UK. My phone has gone potty and I am told running the OTA from recovery may well fix things.
