I have been using Havoc OS for a while, it's laggy 
I used AEX it's really good but it's laggy too. Actually it's stable but animations are laggy.

For lagging you can try setting selinux to permissive and changing kernel to caf kernel.
I am using arrow with caf kernel and device is super responsive, didn't expect it to be this lag free earlier.

I have been using Ressurection remix 7.0 since when it was released. Its super smooth and battery friendly. Perfect rom for daily use and gaming. Plus alot of customization. Btw im using justice kernel4.0 with it
Which stock rom do you use for RR7. 0?

Do you use widgets? In my case widgets can´t be loaded. That sucks! Everything else is perfect!
I used 9.6.9.0 + cafkernel january + permissiver + magisk. With 9.6.4.0 it wasn´t so smooth - but I didn´t use cafkernel when I tried - but also had the problem with the widgets!
You can try installing Lawnchair v2 and then QuickSwitch via Magisk. Works like charm on stock. :good:

GSI yüklediğimde animasyonlar kasıyordu ben de uyuz oldum sildim, şu ara yüklemeyi düşünüyorum caf veya justice ile iyi oluyorsa yükleyebilirim bi GSI. :fingers-crossed:

You have to flash gapps nano correctly
If you dont, bt will crash
It worked on AOSP once then it still crashed and WiFi wouldn't work
Yes i have problem loading widgets and also the navigation bar and status bar cant be swipe to reveal and that bugs me out whenever i play full screen games and videos
