Has anyone seen or heard anything about the Nyko dock since July?

During E3 during Summer, Nyko announced a dock and carrying case for the Shield. Ever since then, I have heard absolutely nothing about it, and searching the web has turned up no results.

Does anyone have any info about release date or pricing, or if it exists, for that matter?

No, and also Nyko announced the playpad 2 last summer with much better analog sticks (Google for it) and it's missing in action. Nvidia advertises the gamestream feature with the current model. And I refuse to support this crap marketing communication.

I hope we can play perfectly with PS3 or Xbox controller after the big update of 28th.

It's impossible to charge and use usb accessories at the same time so I didn't have any hope to have ethernet port and charging feature at the same time.

So it's a completely useless dock.

I have the dock. Works nicely with my wife's Shield, and not at all with mine. (UPDATE: I had a defective HDMI port. Nvidia replaced my Shield - - superb CS on their part! - - and now the dock works on both Shields.)

When you place the Shield in the dock, you're prompted to enter console mode automatically. Very smooth software support. The drawback is that the docking dongle blocks the headphone port, so you must remove it to use ear buds.

I read that the usb OTG y cable does not work with this dock. Can anyone confirm this?

This is pretty much the only reason I wanted one of these.
