I got the notification about the update, but as past updates often felt like they broke functionality or increased battery drain, I'd like to hear people's opinions.

I read in posts from users of other phone models that the Global 14.0 might indeed have these issues.

What do you mean? Your screenshot more definitely supports my claim. TKF"EU"XM marked next to the version indicates that it is EEA global, and the global common ROM worldwide is TKF"MI"XM.

Even common global roms are version numbers "1.0" lower than "2.0" EEA roms, but later (recently) roms.
A lower number does not mean that it is a lower ROM or that changes are not reflected, but that each ROM, such as Global, EEA, Indonesia, and Taiwan, has a separate version mark.

The battery life is not ok for me.
If you ask me, reset , debloat and wait untill they fix the battery life 😉
Battery life was already crap for me at 13.0.16. The phone was around 1 year old at the time of that update, so going from 12-13 of SOT with light usage when new to 7-8 can only be explained by software bugs or shady processes running in the background.

I actually did disable through ADB several dozens of bloatware and the SOT went back to 12 hours... For one charge. Afterwards it didn't became as bad as it was, but it settled at around 10 hours, usually. Seems as if some of the spying crap detects it had been disabled in its original package so perhaps duplicates which exist under different names start operating as backup spyware.

I used to run very modded ROMs (on previous devices) and there was always some issue and all
So when I got my Redmi note 10 Pro I decided to stay on the official rom
As I was only moderately satisfied with it (rom, not device) and bored of waiting for updates
So I switched to Xiaomi.eu 14.0.1.0, around 10 days ago and I am more than satisfied
It's still very close (based on) to the official Chinese rom, but debloated and fixed

There's no thread for it (yet)
You can find everything there :
Global Xiaomi.eu 14 stable thread

Any specific issues you found with it?
Battery drain and over ram consumption?

Just showed you what i have
You can clearly understand it from the screenshot attached to the previous answer.
I've corrected that your version is EEA rather than the normal global, as it can be confusing to others. Others know that too, so they asked if 14.0.1.0 is correct.
