if htc pulled it, they probably did have a reason for that, don't you think? I would wait and see, what happens in the next couple of days.

How do i install this update and do i need to root my device in order to do this? Thanks

hxxp://liveimage.htc.com/OTA_Bravo_Froyo_HTC_WWE_2.09.405.8-1.21.405.2_release4dua3bcrut4wrv30.zip

download the update from the above URL (replace hxxp with http)..this is the official update and has NOT been pulled

rename this file to update.zip and copy on your sdcard root..then boot into recovery and use update.zip to update your HTC

I dunno if this is relevant but this is a Direct Message I got from TMobileUKHelp on twitter about a week ago:

TmobileUKhelp Hi Steve, the roll out from HTC at the moment is only to around 500 devices as a test, they are not ready for the full release yet.

At first I thought it was utter crap but if Updates have stopped it could be possible they only intended to update X amount of devices (I'm guessing more than 500) on a first come first serve basis as a test.
