Can this rom be updated via wifi OTA if I'm not root ?

I've not the rom installed, but 99% yes. Usually OTA it's more for non-rooted devices than rooted, specially because some time before you would loose root on a ota update, but lately any rom is updating and even keeping root. I'm impressed. So yeah, it should.

The team promised two updates per month in july, but latest released ROM is from aug. 5th.
I believe the are working on an update now, you can check the Telegram group.

Apparently HavocOS updates only every 2 months lately. There is no 4.7 version for any supported device and I assume that there will be no 4.9 either, but then a 4.10 in october.

This is different than announced, but ok for me.

We have now shifted to an automated build system to provide weekly updates for all our supported devices. We require a little bit of time to move all of our devices to automated releases. Thanks for the new version. However, I cannot flash it. Currently on 4.8 and the OTA updater app fails to install the update. So I tried via TWRP and also got an error. Has anyone been able to install it?

Thank You for the update. The rom is very stable and smooth but features like adaptive charging and rounded corners are not working kindly fix them of possible.

What TWRP do u use? Flash the other one (Nebrassy/vasishath) and try again.

I finally managed it extract the contents of the payload.bin and flash them in fastboot mode. Still, it would be nice to know why both the OTA updater and TWRP failed to upgrade from 4.8 to 4.9.

Arrow works but havoc goes into bootloop every time I flash it. I am not very experienced just used to flash on my old moto G1 when the things were easier. and I cant understand why I am struck on boot. If I am supposed to add more files please tell me. thanks

did it work? I am struck on boot screen no matter what i do. And in installation instructions it says there is a "README" which is nowhere to be found
