Exactly the same problem : I made a comparative test with the two versions on different songs : the 2.3 recognizes far less songs than the 1.6. I unistalled this version and came back to the 1.6

i can confirm that midomi 2.3 doesn't work on my hd2 (miri v3.0) too
but there is a strange problem with this midomi if it is connection problem you can't even search artist name or title though you can but when it comes to recognize the song it can't connect to midomi server ... ?!

Love midomi 1.6 but there is a big problem.. HISTORY! without a history option the software is kinda useless to me. So was quite exited to see the history tab in 2.3

Does not work on my HD2. Version 1.6 works perfectly; all I need is a History tab. Too bad this recent version is not working at all.
