Yes, this is for the Sprint hboot.img only. The same can be done for the other variants. This does work with Sprint right. Those red letters Uuuuuuuggggghhhh

Done. Thanks for the suggestion, that removes room for doubt.Just to make things a bit clearer you should state that this goes to the External SD card not the internal partition called sd card
Not if you use fastboot.Ok I need to have a SD card to use this right

Wipe BlinkFeed data.My blinkfeed stopped working after flashing the HBOOT - No Red Text, S-OFF, Unlocked
I even wiped the device and the same thing was happening.
Nevermind flashed stock and the same thing is happening I think its just my phone
Thanks I think I found the problem, I think it might have to do with an app called last pass. It has a new option which I think is messing things up.Wipe BlinkFeed data.

Last Pass has been known to be the culprit of a lot of weird issues lately. Thanks I think I found the problem, I think it might have to do with an app called last pass. It has a new option which I think is messing things up.
OK, I changed the link to the correct file this time and I just tried the link and downloaded the file just in case.Just got done flashing worked great. Only issue was I flashed the no red text version since I removed the tampered flash before hand. However the no red text zip file is missing the android-info.txt file. So it wouldn't flash the zip in fastboot without that. Had to add that file in (it was included with other zips) manually then flash and now it works fine. Might wanna update that file for other people using fast boot. No more red text! thanks op
So I have a breaking bad splash screen I really liked on my HTC m7. Now that my m8 is s-off I should be able to flash it, but will the same file work and is the procedure the same on the m8?
That was quick! Let me know if you find anything on splash screen, I'm gonna hold off on my old m7 splash screen until a guide is posted. Don't wanna be messing anything up that I'm not sure if it works, especially with s-off.OK, I changed the link to the correct file this time and I just tried the link and downloaded the file just in case.
The procedure to flash the splash screen should be similar but I'm not sure if the files are named the same with the M8 and M7. I'd like to know too because I want to take a crack at creating a couple of them for my favorite sports teams.
Put the file in your ADB folder.Using bootloader method since I have no SD card, where do I put the file? And every time I press the power button and volume down, it always reboots...

You either have to use a SD card or push it via fastboot commands with a computer.I'm trying to use the method that doesn't require a computer..
