I have tested the whole thing extensively and I must say I am thrilled.

The ROM runs more smoothly than Android 9 and the apps can be installed faster.

About the GPS: The GPS strange is super good as it was with Android 8.
With Android 9 that was a disappointment.

I have checked everything and we have not found a single fault.
Tomorrow I will try out my root tool and adapt it if necessary :)

There is also a new launcher that you can simply install over it if you like.
It has Day/Night support like the Witson/MX Launcher.

Great work by Witson.
Also many thanks to @hal9k the ModInstallerPro / Recovery for testing!

In the attachment you can find some screenshots!

Coming from Android 9, is a new recovery file needed b4 updating or can the ROM be install just like that?

Simply install via recovery and wipe data when upgrading from Android 9 or is it required to have a new recovery / ModInstallerPro? Just received a new exchange unit yesterday and i can't wait to install this update :D

Can the installation be made for those who have any PX5 unit? Or only for Witson Radios?

It's for all MTCE PX5 :)

You need Android 10 Recovery to flash this ROM.

Same as above you need Android 10 Recovery.
Hal9k helped me out :)

Ok, thank you! :)
But before everyone starts private messaging hal9k, is it possible for you to provide the Android 10 recovery.img and short instructions on how to install and what is needed in order to do so?

It's not so easy.
It must be updated more than just use the recovery.
Replacing only the recovery is unfortunately not enough. :)

how can i get recovery 10 to install rom over android 9

You can ask @hal9k for the recovery / ModInstaller Pro.

Thanks for informations. Can a video about upgrade be uploaded?

No video needed :)

It's very easy..

Install Mod Installer Pro, open it and install the Android 10 Recovery.
Then it's boot automatically in the new recovery and then install the update.zip from this thread with an usb stick or sdcard.
After installing the new ROM, reboot into system.
Done!

android 10

Its possible also install CHS2_RK3399_10.0_IMG(20200424) without updating recovery to 10?

Sent from my ASUS_I01WD using Tapatalk

I think without updating the recovery it is not possible to switch from Android 9 to Android 10.

you should understand how to update the recovery, in order to be able to install Android 10.

Yes. You can flash this image with the Rockchip FactoryTool.

You can follow this way, it's almost the same:

INSTRUCTION TO UPDATE ANDROID 6,8,9 TO 10:
    "ONLY MTCE PX5"
I tried it on several devices and had no problem but use it at your own risk
    we need to create sdcard

2.create sd card with "sd firmware tool" and use this IMG: https://yadi.sk/d/umCvHqCDzHccr/RockChip PX5 Android 10/CHS
3.put sd card into GPS slot
4.just hit the reboot on RECOVERY (first option)
5.android 10 logo pops up and starts update process
6.wait for around 1 hour ( it looks stuck but it is going)
7.at the end you will see a message says eject the sd card
8.after ejecting sd card you will see RECOVERY 10
    9.you just press REBOOT
10.wait for 3 min and android 10 will show up
11.now you can install any other version of android 10

    thank you hal and jamal2367

edit: if later you want to install HCT version of android 10 you should first go to recovery and then wipe data and wipe cache and then you will be able to install hct4

    Hct4 px5 10.0 mx/witson test

Thanks to @ Hal9k for Mod Installer Pro.
    My first impressions after installation.
    1- With Android 10, bluetooth MD725 does not work.(Bluetooth MD725 6.0 - 8.0 and 9.0 were also working)
2- The video quality is very good, but there is a problem with the videos in ts format tv recording. (There was an osilator disorder in videos in 9.0)
    3- Wireless is working.
4- The sound quality is better than 9.0.
5- GPS working perfectly, positioning well. Working with iGo and Google Maps
6- My device is connected to the car's amplifier (Alpine pdx v9) and provides excellent sound
7- Steering wheel buttons working perfectly.
    A few pictures.
