The one I had, had an iemoji icon beside the textbox. The following screenshot will show it.
- I also noticed that it doesn't have the colors changing option in the settings. Was it remove on purpose because this was already themed?

I am trying to integrate that option when composing message. Maybe you could post your Mms.apk with that option for me to use as base.

my bad, I had the name wrong. It is contacts.apk
The contacts.apk of CM10 is already INVERTED. I tried to modify it but as I recompile it, there are errors.The phonebook app

Did you enable emoji support in options?
I used the one in OP. Not the attached one in the post, but the "Download this if you have white screen issues".
Yup I enabled emoji support.
I think it came with your OLD mms.apk, maybe the icons are not updated even using the apk from OP. The drawable/hdpi of the Mms.apk I have don't have any of the ANDROID smileys.
Try to send/receive the emoji icons.
Alright, I just realized they're new iemoji. That's why it didn't show up well.
Is is possible to update it to have the latest iemoji?

That icon "blowing" is present on the Mms.apk we have, maybe the codes for WhatsApp and Mms.apk don't match; that is why it is represented by an unknown icon..Alright, I just realized they're new iemoji. That's why it didn't show up well.
