Question head unit 7862 china.cant find app for camera 360

Has RX and TX lines, presumably to hook up to something, I've seen similar camera kits that have one of these go to uart and another to "android head unit" but with no further info.

I've been meaning to find that listing again and contact seller for manual, as I have a 7862 missing 360 chip as well (and I tried to buy, stating I was fine with soldering myself)

i buy the "head unit with camera 360". but the saller not give me the camera 360 and the head unit dont have app for camera 360. (the saller has been banned that why cant contact again) then i buy the camera 360 at another saller. and im done installing the camera at my car.
now i do not know how too find the app for camera 360 for my head unit.

The unit is not a 360 version. If you want to have the camera 360 , you need to have a 360 chip welded in board first. And then you need to flash a MCU FIRMWARE with a 360 version. At last, you need to install a APP.bin with a 360 version.

This has not to do with the MCU or the firmware.
Your unit does not have the 360 camera chip. You should have asked that when ordering.
Whatever you flash to your unit, it will never work without this chip.

You own an FYT board, 7862? Here is the camera 360 pcb board, it might work, im pretty sure its exactly the same as the non-FYT board. The TS10/18 it sells for is a non-FYT 7862, which i own. I can confirm because I opened up my TS10 unit to look. I have Tesla style 12.1 vertical android head unit in my range rover l320. Anyone have any idea about mother board of this unit, I have ask one Ali express seller about 360 module. But he need details of mother board.

My unit came without 360 camera chip due to a misunderstanding, the seller sent me the chip "identical chip "
The task was easy to do with a soldering iron and some flux.
The soldering pads for the chip in the motherboard have solder applied from factory!, in my case no extra solder was required.
In order to enable the 360 app in the device i added the following line to "config.txt":

persist.syu.camera360 =1

then reflash the rom .
All is working as it should

you do not need to download any program. you have to choose 360 camera view from options/backview camera settings. after that program will be visible on your head.
