they're actually JBL's, HTC were just the ones selling them...I can confirm they are compatible and fully functional:)

they're not the most comfortable, whether it's just my ears, or the fact that they have those weird rubber arms to keep them in place, but the noise cancelling and ambient aware features are pretty rad and work really well.

Just ordered these yesterday and received them today. There's a $10 off regular price deal going on for a limited time. They came with 80% charge according to the Bluetooth settings on Oreo. From about an hour use they're pretty fine for the price. They get plenty loud, there's bass but it's not overwhelming, there's good passive noise canceling with a good fit, and the hooks feel like they'll keep them from flying off during runs and workouts. Connection was also strong from across a living room / kitchen area. Oh and Google Assistant does work with a 1 second press and release of the play/pause button.

Anker SoundBuds Curve Wireless Headphones, Bluetooth 4.1 Sports Earphones with 12.5 Hour Battery, AptX Stereo Sound, Waterproof Nano Coating, Workout Headset with Built-In Mic and Carry Pouch

Anyone looked into get some KZ ZS5's with a removable 3.5mm jack cable? You can convert it into a wireless Bluetooth headset by buying the attachment. Wondered whether they'll get the USB Cable version of the cable? Just search them on gearbest

Ah I have a pair of kz zs5.. sound is good for the price.. but not really all that great. I have small ear canal and find them quite uncomfortable. I'd like to have a usbc right angle ton3.5 mm adapter.. nice small and compact with built in dac. Then I can plug any of my collection of 3.5 mm head phones in..

Have Bose Soundlink 35 headphones. When pairing with my 6P, had the ability to give them access to my contacts. On 2XL, don't have that option. Anyone experiencing a similar issue or know how to fix. Have already chosen Forget on 2 XL and deleted from the Bose Connect app, no change. Thanks in advance.

You tried the settings (gear icon) for the headphones? For my headset I have the following options showing:
Phone calls
Media audio
HD audio
Contacts

All checked on by default.

I just picked up a pair of Jaybird x3s. One word. AWESOME. I've never heard earbuds this good. 8hr battery. Lightweight. Comfortable. And stay in your ears. Sweatproof. I paid $200 Australian. I think they're about $130US. Using the jaybird app to tune them, they sound amazing.
Also, a word of warning. Do not buy JBL Inspire500 earphones. They are utter garbage. Worst sound of any earbuds I've used. And they hurt my ears, badly. Paid 90 bucks Australian for them, and had to take them back the next day. Used the credit towards the Jaybirds. Best thing I could have done.

I'm interested in the said Sonys. Can you give a review on them? I'm looking into the wireless route but want audiophile quality sound.
Thank you.
I'm not a great reviewer, before buying I was thinking on Bose Qc 35 II but saw a lot of reviews on YouTube and everyone says that Sonys is the best.
On my usage it's AWESOME, I'm so happy with it. LDAC codec is amazing and I have no lag while streaming from Pixel 2 XL. I have no problems using it all day long at work, I feel no discomfort at all.
My only problem buying a Bluetooth headphone is charging it, but with a beast 30h battery I don't mind charging it once a week.
WelI bought a lot of tech this year and this headphone surprised me so positively as Pixel 2 XL did.
Well, hope it helps. Tell me if you buy it and what u think.
Cheers!

That's great that you like the headphone. How's the bass output? The mids and high still sound clear even when bad is heavy?
Thanks.
