Help-AOD AutoBrightness not working properly,

The AOD shows when the phone is locked and disappears when I cover the proximity sensor, but in direct sunlight the brightness wont increase as before, it stays the same, please help

Im on Fulmics Rom 3.3 with Asgard kernel 5.7

Somehow for me its working now, I was changing governors and loaded a profile in ex kernel manager, maybe by changing that fixed the problem, dont know :S
