I am using currently micromax a120 Which having a mediatek chipset (MT6582) And maximum mobiles of micromax is powered by mediatek and its having a feature and i want to know how to add the feature on any android !
**FEATURE**
On status bar there are 3G/G/E icons which indicate which is my current network mode !
Its shows beside the network icons and its not the "data connection icon*"
As example :- If i choose my 1st sim as 3G and 2nd one as 2G then beside 1st network signal its appear "3G" and ,beside 2nd one "G"
If i have cleared the doubt whats the feature is then tell me how to add this feature on other roms ?
I have already decompiled systemUI.apk and tried to find out where the xml script file exist which doing the feature apply to the system !
(**Android=4.4.2)
2ND QUESTION:-
For my device kernel source is not available and i want to upstream my kernel to 3.4.113 From 3.4.67 so, tell me if it possible to upstream without source ?
3RD QUESTION:-
Due to no kernel source we have to use 3.4.67 Kernel on lineage os13/Resurrection remix 5.7.4 and on this kernel vpn wont work in whole device mode so, if there any way to work vpn then let me know !
4TH QUESTION:-
Is it possible if i have kernel source of 3.4.67 Then i can build 3.10.54/3.10.72 Kernel ?
5TH QUESTION:-
As i have mentioned that i am using micromax a120 (4.4.2) and thats having partition storage (apps and file storage partitions are not same)(5.1gb for files and 0.9gb for apps) But the clone device having emulated storage and i want that feature on this micromax A120 , even i can increase the app partition size but i want emulated storage !
***Clone device (Wiko rainbow) Stock rom can be flashed over micromax mobile and that works fine !
I have tried through changing ebr with wiko rainbow Single ebr but after it my stock rom wont boot and stuck at logo !
Tell me how to get emulated storage on micromax like wiko rainbow !
**NOTE:-micromax rom has better kernel and stability than wiko so i want this emulated storage over micromax !
At last i will say that i dont know about this things 10% and i want to know this all !
So, please reply and help me !
