Big thanks to @defcomg for your work on this, these are indeed great news. H815 here, unlocked (sold by Movistar, Spain). Tried the apk on both stock LP and MM (v10e and v20d respectively), with no luck (no 3 dots). The phone is not rooted. If there's any other apk version available, i'll gladly test it. Thanks again.

This is working for me on my H811/Genisys rom/SuperXe kernel, somewhat anyway. I can select manual video (or any other mode) upon initially opening app after install, use all the functions to record a video or other, files save correctly etc. The issues I've found is that once I select manual video (may apply to other modes also, haven't tested every one) I am unable to select any other mode, or select settings (gear icon), without the app force closing. It will then continually force close every time I attempt to open it. If I use Titanium Backup to wipe data, I can use all functions normally again.

Any idea what could be causing those issues? Anything I can try?

Somehow I managed to get this working on the H81210n rooted. I really don't know how, installed as a apk a week or two ago when this thread came out and just realized I have another camera app. Clicked it and bam, manual video and everything. Im amazed. Ill help anyone out with an apk if they need one if I can.

Some roms seem to be missing something in the framework maybe a rom dev can help with that

I found the problem because someone can't see 3 dots button in MM.

It's DPI related. Using standard dpi 640 it doesn't show the 3 dots because they're outside screen. If you reduce to 580 it works like a charm.

Installed only the app from this link on pag. 19

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5NJTB9bLPdsVjJXN0dYUE11RU0/view

But only with the app makes fc in manual photo mode.

Going to install xml files and retry now

Edit: Tried and doesnt work. If if put xml files, then stock camera dies too. If i put lib in system/etc makes bootloop.

Thanks @r4yv3n ! you gave some little idea about how to get those "three dots" with stock v10E 5.1 H815 Poland rooted, no xposed installed.

You need to have modified build.prop to add ability of dual window every app.

Then if you open a camera(from LG V10) and calendar for example, you can see three dots and click them with two fingers. You need opened calendar to keep your screen in vertical position. One fingers keeps touching calendar and second finger can succesfully click "three dots". Then you can choose Manual Camera but Manual Video i still hidden outside screen. :(

I put video on youtube showing this.

Thanks to @defcomg for apk

I changed the DPI using adb and the 3 dot menu appeared.
Manual video also works fine.

However I have one question, is there any way to make manual video 4K, it's currently in FHD 17mbps. I tried changing it to UHD from the 16:9 menu but it's still in FHD.
