Help bringing LG V10's camera to the G4

I changed the DPI using adb and the 3 dot menu appeared.
Manual video also works fine.

However I have one question, is there any way to make manual video 4K, it's currently in FHD 17mbps. I tried changing it to UHD from the 16:9 menu but it's still in FHD.

No. Im currently working on changing some stuff around to see if this is possible. Whenever the settings button is hit in manual mode the app crashes. Currently working on a fix.

On h815 20d 540 dpi everything (almost) is working.
Manual Video is working, but manual camera kills it - had to be reinstalled.

Hello everyone. Great work! I too would like to use the LG V10 cam but I have not figured out if I have to flash the .zip files using TWRP recovery or if I have to copy files and folders contained in the zip file replacing the existing ones.

The zip isn't flashable, you have to extract the zip and copy the files over to the locations where they belong, but you probably already figured out where you have to copy them to. But the camera won't work with all rom and kernel combinations and isn't fully working. So I don't recommend you to try it.

Thank you. I have an LG-H815 G4, MM v20d,stock, rooted, bootloader unlocked. You think it would not work if I insert the folder "META-INF" in zip file?

No, that won't work. If you want to make a flashable zip, you will also need an updater-script and update-binary. The updater-script contains the information and commands for the recovery (so it knows where the files should be placed in your system). But that's not all and I'm not really experienced in making flashable zips.

Does microphone directivity and dB volume adjustments work on lg g4 hardware threw this ported v10 app software or are those 2 feature tied only to lg v10 hardware???
