just install the stock rom and you are good to go. You should really get a better understanding how OSs work
I know, I'm a bit new when it come to this stuff, but i dont think its as bad as i think. It seems to be booting now. Can somebody please upload the stock g4 camera apk and all the files that the zip replaced? It would help me out a LOT. I would be forever gratefuljust install the stock rom and you are good to go. You should really get a better understanding how OSs work
edit: ok at the moment its just stuck at the android is upgrading/starting apps screen. i think i may need to reinstall

Couldn't you just copy the old files back over with adb? I assume you saved a copy before overwriting it with the v10 files?
I just used the kdz firmware update to reinstall. i had it lying around and it's done the trick.
I had the files but i couldn't access them because i was stuck on bootloop without adb. now i just have to re-root :fingers-crossed:Word for the stupid: Dont just copy the files over.
Rumor I heard is that the 6.0 update doesn't bring manual video controls to the G4. If that's true, will anyone be picking this idea back up again?
That sucks. I get if they want to differentiate the v10 with hardware or software that requires hardware in the v10,but to just leave out something important like this that could function just fine on the g4 and really is a capability that should've been in their g4 flagship at release

I agree, but i recommend we wait a bit longer before judging anything... I see no reason LG would leave us short of video controls

You are probbably right, but that's exactly why i think they should give us some of the software
functions from V10 - maybe they could increase G4 sales by doing that...

While waiting on the official app to be ported or updated you could play with Cinema 4K, it brings you manual video controls, which are pretty close to the v10 app. It works pretty well with my LG G4 815. It's also possible to user the manual controls while filming, just tap during recording and the manual control sliders will reappear and are fully working...

Camera FV-5 is a good substitute for video manual control, waiting for official implementation.
Please compare FV-5 to Cinema 4k. The later is much closer to the stock apps.
Yes we can have manual control with ProShot, but with third apps with always have the same problem, the sound quality is not the same and it sucks compare with the stock app camera... Do a comparison, and it's very clear if you make a loud comparison, like concert, clubbing...
Not to be rude, but best advice I can give you to fix that is KDZ back to stock. Earlier in this post someone else bootlooped and that was their only fix. If you search this site there's quite a number of instructions to assist you with this. :good:
yea i did thanks. i was scared cause last two times i used kdz files i bricked my phone, twice.
