Yep, that's what happened to me during this "phase", just periodically call yourself and test it whilst checking the status in settings. Eventually, it will work. Though resetting the cache/app will start the "process" over again, so it's best to just wait.
5 weeks in and I've still not been able to get this to work.... caller gets no Google Assistant prompt and all I see is an empty dialogue box with no other options... Google have offered me a replacement but I'm not sure if I could be bothered with it after all this, especially if the new one has the same problem... is yours still working?
Just enrol into the Beta via Play Store and that's the version you get. (On Pixel 6 or Pixel 6 Pro)
Yep, it's related. We're trying to enable Manual Call Screening.Forgive my ignorance, but is this related to the automatic call screening or just manual call screening - or all of the above? According to this article Google rolls out Call Screen to seven more countries — but there's a catch:
Manual screen calling is working fine with my phone, central Europe. So the rep is definitely clueless. But all Level 1 reps are clueless, you could also say useless, but don't do that, that's rude.
As of a few days ago it was magically configured.
