Hello everyone, my cpu frequencies are going insane. I cant lock them to minimum and maximum frequencies using any kernel tuning apps. I'm in invicta OS right now.... It happens in every custom rom and custom kernel I tried so far. The cpu governors keep resetting to default governor. :crying: Is there any solution for this issue?

Please describe some more details: device XT... , rom and version, which kernel tuning apps etc., does kernel apps receive root access, do you set it at boot so the settings won't be reset after reboot?

XT1643 in invicta OS Rom with default kernel, root privileges were given to kernel adiutor app, busybox is installed and set on boot is on but still the frequencies go insane like they're drunk and it's heating up my phone. I had same issues with all custom roms and custom kernels. I tried different tuning apps from playstore but the result is same.

Please make a screenshot of the frequency tag. "insane" doesn't tell me anything...

As you can see the screenshots.... The minimum frequency i set is to 400mhz for cpu... But after sometime the minimum frequency sets itself to 900mhz....... And this change in frequencies is heating up my device. Why can't i lockdown the minimum and Maximum frequencies? :( does it have anything to do with cpu hotplug provided in invicta os?

Quoting EX Kernel Manager,
Frequencies and cores are controlled by system processes. These settings may not persist.
Applicable to all kernels, and kernel managers. I would suggest you try the Lightning Blade profile (check the forum, it's here. Search.) as it has always kept my device cool.
