Help getting started on kindle fire 2 with root, twrp, and custom rom

Kindle fire 2nd gen
For the life of me i have been googling and looking at hundreds of threads and cannot get this thing running the 2nd bootloader. i used http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2100963&page=54 this one by hashcode but all of his files are gone. i used a mirror someone posted but i keep bootlooping after following the instructions. does anyone have a working way to get this thing on a second bootloader with recovery?

I think you have the new firmware, well reflash bootloader and the second bootloader and twrp. Switch to a normal cable, and input this command

fastboot -i 0x1949 oem recovery

That should let you boot in the second bootloader, tap the power button when you see fire with blue letters to select recovery, then when un recovery, use adb to push your ROM:

adb push yourrom.zip /sdcard/

And there you go, wipes: factory reset, and advanced> wipe dalvik caché,
And now you can proceed to install the zip
