I just saw a method for opening the menu again for Android 11. I saw this on the US thread.


Just check the code on my N9810 BRI
This method only works on Qualcomm versions
I use *#*#276633683782#*#* on Google phone dialer
and it brings up a service mode screen.

Press [5] RF Test and choose [2] PREF MODE SET
（or other options also works ）
It will show Please use *#2263# for mode set
Then just tap three dots on right top menu and choose back
It will bring you back to the main menu.

Hi there,
If you want to activate the n3 n28 bands on BRI
Please go to [2] UE Settings >> [2]System
On the last page choose [1] SET LTE BAND CONFIG
Then click on [1] SET DEFAULT LTE BAND
Reboot your phone and check again the available NR bands.

So after talking to Vodafone here in Czech republic 5G and most of 4G+ will never work on my N9860....kinda pissed off that i sold my Exynos version

Hi there! Glad I saw this thread. I actually don't have N20U but S20FE, with more or less same limbo. My 5G isn't working and I also have TGY FW installed. I still haven't tried to change CSC to BRI and see if it will make any difference. My office issued me a work phone, which luckily is a Samsung A42 5G and then and there I was able to confirm that my house has 5G signal (thank God yay). Now my question is - has 5G worked on BRI or this is like a matter of needing more research? I wanted to make use of 5G while my neighbors still don't have a capable phone so I can hog all the bandwidth lol

As I know, the TGY S20 FE doesn't have BRI in the firmware, so you only can change to CHC (China) via flashing firmware by Odin.

SM-G781B BRI is in OXM CSC.

Would you know the supported bands for CHC? Or would it cause much issues if I change it to that CSC?

As I know, the S20 FE G7810 hardware supports:
5G: n1/n3/n41/n78/n79
4G: LTE Band 1/3/4/5/7/8/12/17/20/34/38/39/40/41
3G: Band 1/2/5/8 / GSM: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz

It's wired that it doesn't support B28.
So if you're in EU that needs B28 on your carrier, you may find out the 4G speed is lower than what you expect.

Not sure if this is what you're asking for.
Latest firmware OMC for N9860 CHC, I've extracted most of the stuff for ya.
