Yes, I checked it by using TWRP file manager.
There is no files in this folder and one empty folder in "system".

I wiped cache and davik cache.
After boot it stucked at boot logo. I waited around 40 minutes - nothing.
did you try with wipe data ??
sometimes it does not work without wipe data

I was about to flash till I saw this. Did you check if there is anything in system folder using TWRP file manager

check that you have mounted system folder in "mounts" in TWRP

otherwise check it with CWM custom recovery

I saw many posts in other sections that people are having problems with TWRP and system folders

I will try to make a another one today and check it out

Still no progress.

Will try to flash CWM recovery - silly question is: is there any specific CWM recovery for SM-P905?

Couldn't find any info on XDA.

I don't know if there is a CWM based recovery or not

Still the same.
When Im trying to flash, everything is happening very fast (less than 3 minutes), so I think something is going wrong.

Sometimes its taking much longer (1 hour?) and I can see all the progress at progress bar, but at the very end it freezes at 100% and nothing is happening for an hour. No error, no messege what is happening, nothing.

Ok, flash didnt come to a end (stucked at 100%), but finally system is turning on.
Will let you know f it works without issues.

I finally was able to flash it, so cant take a screenshoot at the moment.

Unfortunately I have another issue:
do not have access to SIM card: sim-PIN-entry sceen is visible for 1 second, then disappearing, and after few seconds its appearing again.
Is there a way to flash modem.bin? Maybe thats what is causing an issue.

ok I will make a modem tar file that you can flash through odin

I will upload it in the next few hours

Update:

It works! Thank you so much!

Only one problem left:
Android keeps forgetting wifi password.

May it have something to do with wpa_suppliciant.conf file from /data/misc/wifi ?

not sure about the wifi problem

my note pro is in the repair to check if there is a problem with the usb port since I cannot connect a portable 1 tb hard drive

once I get it back I will flash the rom and test it and see if I have any problems similar to yours and try to fix them

Hmm. I re-checked it and even without reboot, just after turning wifi off/on pasword has been forgotten.
I got my note pro from the repair

I have the official rom
XFU P905XXUABOH2_P905OJPABOH1_P905XXUABOE2

I flashed TWRP
wiped date & cache & dalvik

flashed the rom from TWRP and everything was ok in TWRP

rebooted and the rom started without any force close

i did not have a problem with sim card or wifi

i connected the wifi to a network
turned it off and back on and it did not forget the network
i restarted the note pro and check the wifi and everything was ok

maybe something is wrong on your side
