As much as I saw in the update, there is a new radio image for the onboard baseband. I think this should switch it off. An older radio image is not avaliable, so there should be no other chance to unbrick it, except plugging in a mdm9600 mini pci card and flashing 3.2.2

to check if this is so, go into a terminal or adb shell, gain root and do a lsusb
if there is a device with the id 05c6:9008, your radio is in diagnostics mode. that means it's "switched off"

5. Flash HLK75C from this thread above as directed
Where is this HLK75C in your step 5? EVERYTHING has worked smoothly from your step 1-4. I can't find the above "From this thread above as directed"?

Disregard. Found your other thread. I'm still stuck at step 5, when you say to flash. I guess I'm not sure what commands I should be typing to flash HLK75C.

guidance, please?

Flash via fastboot same as stock images.

adb reboot bootloader

fastboot flash boot boot.img

fastboot flash system system.img

fastboot erase cache

fastboot reboot

May need to wipe data, don't forget to erase cache. 4G and WiFi working on my xoom with these images and it should already be rooted. Let me know if it works.
I'm trying to compress your win.rar file to a zip folder and place on my sd card, so I can flash.

Says files are protected. How do I remove this protection?

Disregard this nonsense. It was my adapter. (user error)

The file downloads as a .7z I've tried to compress it and flash it from CWM off my external SD Card. I've tried flashing the two files individually. I've tried fastbooting them.

Could you possibly go into a bit more depth as to what you did in step 5?

anyone?

could someone post a stock HLK75C or HLK75D recovery.img so I can update OTA to HLK75D?

Or could I just let it roll with CWM on it? - nope can't do that ;)

I did want to say this worked and I got 3g back. I cannot seem to get 4g to authenticate with the tower... (just grey 4G, not blue)

hoping hlk75d will allow me to atleast get lte back.

Scratch that - I can see 4g after it cycles down to 3 then back up. still want that stock recovery. hoping solarnz rooted dump might have the stock in it. - not the case :(

sad panda.. any help out there?
