HELP Mcafee stupid costs !!

Hello ! i just flashed the KDZ file of oficial marshmallow 6.0 android for D855 LG G3 . Now this stupid app generates me 0.12 eurocents cost for every time i reboot the phone or swap the sim .... i now have over 1 euro cost only for this app .....HOW THE HELL do i turn this app off ? I am rooted but can't uninstall the stupid AV MCafee . If i try to contact support after completing the file it gives me a 505 error on theyr website. What is the default pin of this **** app ?? The phone is mine , i have the box and everything. When i go to this app it requires a 6 digit pin but i don't have a account and i don't know how to turn it off (i am rooted).

i have never use this app but it is interesting that you can not uninstall it with root.
can you try sdmaid? because i can remove it with sdmaid.

I managed to uninstall it with another app from the playmarket the one with a red bin on a white background logo (root uninstaller) ! Hallelujah ! alas no more pointless bill costs !

In this case that you had, that app seems quite shady indeed, Why would a Antivirus/Security company make you pay to reboot your own device?

Glad you figured it out. i always debloat my rom from all the crapware that companies push with a rom.
There are many options to uninstall such stuff, and even easier if you rooted, personally i use ROM Toolbox Pro, or Titanium.

Before uninstalling i took Titanium but the app failed to uninstall McAfee Antivirus (not enough permisions) thow Root was granted !

Oh thats strange, was it the Free or Pro version of Titanium?

But either way, its good that you managed to get rid of that.

Bought a used LG G3 and upon factory reset, I got a notice for an SMS charge. Didn't know it was McAfee. But the phone kept running hot and battery draining fast. As much as 25% an hour. Had to use BetterBatteryStats determine that McAfee was the problem. Removed it and voila, phone runs like new again.

I'm in Viet Nam and I confirm this stupid cost.
I just realize that my money was deducted like hell since I'm playing with new kernel to customzie it (I need to restart phone more).
I call to service provider and operator said that my phone is sending roaming sms.
They just tell me 3 last digit receiver number is "035" and recommend me to check all apps in my phone.
I checked my phone but I cannot find something "strange". Search in google and no help.

Just a warning for everyone from the UK it looks like McAfee in all their wisdom send a SMS to an american number (001 925 353 9035) for each and every time you reset the phone or activate McAfee.
Not sure if this affects our fellow european customers.

Now, I removed McAfee and nerver lost more money for that sh!t again.
